"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

She did it! She really said it!

Isha, though nervous, still tried to look nonchalant and glanced up at the moon to appear normal, as if she hadn't just thrown a confession at him. There was a nagging feeling eating at her, urging her to confess more clearly. Without it, there would be no progress, even after this.

Somewhere deep in her heart, she held hope that he would understand. Otherwise, she'd have to muster her courage another day.

Rudransh's gaze never moved from hers, as though he was lost in deep thought about something. The silence stretched for a moment before he finally spoke.

"Yes," he said softly. "It was beautiful for me since the first time."

Isha's heart skipped a beat. Was he talking about the moon? Relief and confusion swirled within her, but before she could ask, he leaned closer, his eyes locking onto hers with an intensity that made her breath hitch.

"You can't say it more clearly, huh?" he murmured, his lips just a breath away from hers. "I love you too."

Her eyes widened in shock as his words sank in. He knew! Before she could react, his lips were on hers, claiming her with a tenderness that left her breathless. Her arms automatically wrapped around his neck, pulling him closer. His strong arms encircled her waist, lifting her effortlessly onto his lap as he deepened the kiss.

Isha's eyes fluttered shut as she surrendered to the moment, her heart soaring. He understood. He always had. Her chest filled with giddiness, and she tilted her head to kiss him more fervently, lost in her feelings. The kiss was slow and filled with love, a warmth spreading between them as his fingers traced lazy patterns on her waist and back. Every touch conveyed his devotion.

When they finally broke apart, both were breathless. Isha shyly gazed into his eyes, her cheeks flushed, before resting her head on his shoulder. She felt his arms tighten around her as he held her close.

"You knew?" she asked softly, her voice barely above a whisper.

Rudransh looked ahead, his hold on her unyielding, and hummed in response.

"How?" she pressed, her curiosity piqued.

A faint smile tugged at his lips. "Ishaan kept repeating this to Vittorio today for some weird reason and explained its meaning hundreds of times. I didn't understand why he was shouting it in front of me, but now I do."

Isha's face burned as she mentally scolded Ishaan. The situation suddenly became clear, and her embarrassment deepened. She snuggled into Rudransh's neck, her hold on him tightening as she tried to hide her blush. His quiet chuckle only made her cheeks redden more.

The moonlight bathed the terrace in its soft glow, creating an ethereal ambiance. Rudransh's arms still encircled Isha, holding her close. She stayed nestled against his chest, listening to the steady rhythm of his heartbeat. It was a soothing sound, almost like a lullaby that made her feel safe and loved.

"Do you want to stay out here a little longer?" Rudransh's voice was soft, his fingers lazily tracing patterns on her back.

Isha nodded, feeling the peacefulness of the night seep into her. "It's so quiet and beautiful here."

He smiled, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "Not as beautiful as you."

She turned her head slightly, hiding her face against his chest to escape his intense gaze. "what suddenly wrong you? You're embarrassing me."
