Morning came, and Isha found herself in a strong hold that made it even hard to move a little. She wanted to stretch but couldn't, so reluctantly, she opened her eyes and found herself face to chest with the person holding her.

His clothed chest rose and fell in a uniform manner. Her cheeks slowly turned red when she felt the tight hold of his rough arms around her waist, holding her so close that half of the bed was empty, and his face was nuzzled in her hair as he breathed calmly.

Isha couldn't help but notice how calm he looked. There were very few times she had seen him this relaxed, and she liked him this way—stress-free. She bit her lip, remembering it was her first day after marriage and that she was in the arms of her husband.

A shy smile crept onto her lips as she stared at his sleeping face. Her hand rested over the spot where his heart was located, and she caressed it gently. Her gaze shifted to the clock on the wall, which read 6 a.m., and she knew she needed to get up somehow.

However, her movements stopped, and she looked at her husband again. Her hand slowly caressed his chest once more, and with a soft smile, she leaned down to place a gentle peck where his heart was located. Shyly, she then attempted to slip out of his grip, which had loosened slightly, knowing full well she could never do anything like this when he was awake.

Just as she entered the bathroom, Rudransh's eyes opened, and he instinctively touched his heart where his wife had just kissed him. He lay there on the bed, even after noticing that it was 6:30 a.m. and he was 2:30 hours late for his daily routine.

Getting up from the bed, he walked out of the room to head to his gym, fully aware that he might do something to his wife that would make her unable to look at him because of how shy she was.

Isha walked downstairs in a saree, feeling weird and, most importantly, nervous as it was her first day here as a daughter-in-law. Maya looked at her with sparkling eyes as she called her over. Isha went to touch her feet, but Maya stopped her.

"Hamare yahan ladkiyan pair nahi chooti," she told her with a soft smile, and Isha felt at ease around her.

"Bado se aashirwad bhi nahi le sakti?" she asked in her soft voice. Her innocent question made Maya squeal with delight as she pulled Isha into the kitchen with her.

"Vo to bin maange tumhare saath hai hi," Isha smiled at the new feeling of being wanted and having a family. But her brows furrowed when Maya handed her a cup of coffee.

"I don't drink coffee, Ma." Maya gave her a mischievous smile. "Yes, I know, but it's for your husband. Go give it to him because it's very late, and he might get angry." Isha gave her a deer-caught-in-headlights look but nodded, knowing she couldn't say no to her.

Walking toward the gym room on his floor, she felt nervousness grow in her stomach at the thought of him getting angry. Her steps quickened, and she knocked on the door. No one spoke, so she stood outside for a minute, but thinking the coffee would get cold, she opened the door softly.

Stepping inside the gym, she roamed her gaze around, but her eyes suddenly widened at the view in front of her. Rudransh's back muscles clenched as he pulled himself up from the machine. His biceps tightened, holding his weight effortlessly for five seconds before he slowly pulled himself down.

The pull-ups were executed so smoothly that it looked like they required no strength at all. Isha gulped and put the cup down, preparing to leave when Rudransh's voice stopped her.
