Isha was frustrated—blushingly frustrated. From morning, every household member had been giving her teasing side glances. If that wasn't enough, they had all started asking a very embarrassing question—about her honeymoon.
They'd bump into her, act surprised, and then say sorry.
"Well, bhabhi, when is the honeymoon?" Jahnvi put her finger on her chin, looking away as if in deep thought.
This had been going on all morning. The remaining guests, all the youngsters, her mother-in-law, father-in-law, and sister-in-law.
And the biggest traitor among them—Ishaan.
He had "accidentally" bumped into her six times and asked the same question each time.

Isha was heading to the kitchen to fill her bottle when Rajveer Ahuja called her. She approached him, asking in a polite but calm tone as she tried to hide her nervousness—he was basically a stranger to her.
"Yes?" Rajveer smiled at her politely, his gaze apologetic.
"I am Kavya's father, the business partner of Rana Sa. Rajveer Ahuja, Rani Sa," he said, bowing slightly. Isha returned a small smile. "Ma told me about you. Namaste, uncle." She joined her hands, but he gently held them, and Isha visibly tensed.
"No, please don't, Rani Sa; rather, I should be the one apologizing." Isha looked at him, confused as he released her hand.
He smiled and apologized for his daughter's behavior. "I'm really sorry about my daughter's actions. I don't know why she got so upset." Isha felt bad that he was apologizing for his daughter, so she shook her head.
"It's okay; she didn't cause any big issues." Isha thought Kavya's actions had only involved lying about her relationship with Rudransh.
"You truly deserve to be Rani Sa," Rajveer Ahuja said with a smile before bowing and walking away. Isha wasn't sure how to respond, so she just watched him go.
All she felt was pity for him.

Rajveer turned back as he walked away from Isha, his eyes darkening and his smile fading to distaste.
That "homewrecker" had stolen his daughter's place. His fists clenched, teeth gritted in irritation and disgust.
He'd been trying to gain the Rajputs' trust by playing the nice guy, hoping they'd trust him completely. But it was grating on him to see that low-class girl sitting on the throne that rightfully belonged to his daughter. The sight was so filthy that he wanted to end her life right there and then.
He walked to the garden where his daughter sat on a swing, lost in thought. He placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Beta."
Kavya spun around and clung to Rajveer, sobbing as she tightened her hold.
"Papa, I saw them together this morning, and I can't stand how she's wrapped Rudransh around her finger." She buried her face in her father's chest.
"That poor girl stole everything that was mine, Papa," she sobbed. Rajveer lovingly stroked her head. In the business world, it was well known: the only thing Rajveer Ahuja loved more than his work was his daughter.
He would kill for her. Any of her wishes would be fulfilled within minutes—that's how much he loved her. Rudransh was the only thing he couldn't give her, and that thought made him want to destroy anyone in his way.
