The bride and groom were ready for their departure, the cars lined up outside the grand venue. The one in the middle, specially decorated, awaited today's special couple. The tables had turned as Ishaan stood by Isha's side, wiping his runny nose from all the crying.
"Are you okay now?" Janhvi asked him, worried but also laughing at her newfound friend. Ishaan glared at her and snatched the tissue she offered. Wiping his nose, he blinked and looked around.
Isha and Rudransh had just taken blessings from their elders, and as usual, Rudransh's eyes were on Isha. Ishaan ran towards his parents and smiled at them. They smiled back.
"You know me, right? Aapki bahu ka dost, sabse pyara aur dulara dost," he said proudly. Rudransh's parents smiled and nodded.
"Can I stay with her for a little while longer, please?" he asked, clenching his fists and squeezing his eyes shut as if wishing with all his might for their agreement. It wasn't his fault for feeling this way—he and Isha had been close since their school days, and now, with the realization that he would have to go away, he felt strange.
"Of course, beta," Rudransh's parents agreed, knowing how much they had grown fond of him. Ishaan had become everyone's favorite during his stay at the palace, and they adored him.
Ishaan quickly returned to Isha, whispering, "I'm going to stay and trouble you more, heh," while smiling at the camera. The camera caught Isha glancing at Ishaan curiously while he grinned widely, and Rudransh, on the other hand, shot him a deadly glare.
Ishaan's gaze wandered around the hall. He was happy that everyone else seemed content, which made him feel good. However, his smile faded when his eyes landed on a couple looking at him with a stern expression—his parents, standing with his sister Riya.
They signaled for him to come over, and he couldn't help but obey. Excusing himself from Isha, whose eyes had followed his gaze, understanding the reason behind his disappearing smile, he felt her hand hold his. She shook her head, silently telling him not to go, but as if he had no control over his body, he gently removed her hand and went to his parents.
Isha couldn't do anything; the guests were present, and there were still a few post-wedding rituals to complete.
They were asked to move toward the car, and Rudransh held her hand gently, guiding her. Seeing her worried expression, he asked, "What's wrong?"
"Can you please send Mr. Vittorio to check on Ishaan?" she asked, concern evident in her voice.
Seeing her worried face didn't sit well with him. She was his wife now, and nothing should trouble her.
"Everything here now is yours. You can order anyone to do anything, and they must obey you," Rudransh said softly, his gaze flicking to Vittorio, who stood a little distance away. He signaled Vittorio in the direction where Ishaan had gone. Vittorio, as if waiting for Rudransh's command, nodded and immediately set off.
Isha felt a bit relieved knowing Vittorio would ensure Ishaan's safety. Her attention shifted to her hand, still held by Rudransh, and a blush crept across her cheeks as she quickly looked ahead.

As Ishaan approached his parents, Balraj and Damini Singhania, his heart pounded in his chest. His sister, Divya Singhania, stood beside them with a smirk plastered on her face, her eyes gleaming with mockery. He gulped, feeling the weight of their stern gazes. The three stood in the corner, away from the attention of the other guests, who were too busy focusing on the newlywed couple to notice the quiet confrontation.
