Like last year, the fireworks brilliantly illuminated the sky, everyone cheered. Celebrating that the year was over, while Chloe watched the fireworks, Lukas held the box with the necklace inside tightly. He eventually forced himself to move and tell Chloe.
"Chloe, there's something I've been needing to ask you."
"Oh! What is it?"
"Everyone, shut up! This is going down!"
"I've wanted to ask you this since I met you." Lukas nervously utters while clenching the gift in his hands behind his back. "I thought long and hard about this, I was scared that you weren't gonna say yes. But I was willing to take that risk."
"Chloe, you make me the happiest person on earth, will you be my girlfriend?"
Lukas holds out the necklace with a heart-shaped amethyst in front of Chloe, while everyone watches.
A singular tear falls down Chloe's cheek, a second later, more tears begin streaming down. She gave out an incredible smile, falls to the ground, and she confidently says:
"I- I- never thought *Sniffle* you would ask... I will!"
Daniel, Yune, Rosalina, and Xavier begin to cheer loudly and gleefully.
Lukas begins to cry tears of joy, he was so happy that Chloe said yes.
"A-Are you sure, you're satisfied with me? I'm worried that I'm too inexperienced for something like this."
"*Sniffle* Don't worry, this whole thing of being a couple is just as new to me as it is to you, but we can take it slow, we don't have to rush."
"Thank you Lukas... I love you!"
"I love you too Chloe!"
They keep watching the fireworks together, and when it ends, everyone begins to leave. So the 6 of them start to leave, and unlike last year, Lukas doesn't invite others over. He felt tired, he was exhausted, but something was going to happen next year, that will cause Daniel's Life of soccer to really set off.
"Koyama Ryuu sir, we located Daniel Silva."
"Hahahaha... that boy I inspired grew an astounding amount of skill and talent! I want to recruit him, initiate the entry trial."
"Of course sir."
