~Chapter 3~

"Why?? W-What's wrong," Seungmin questioned, his heart dropped again when he realized Chan couldn't even look him in the eyes. "I-Is it me–" he choked out. His mind quickly convinced himself he was somehow at fault. His voice became softer as he continued. "D-Did I do something wrong??"

Could he sense that he still doubts him? Or was he being too desperate...too needy. Maybe he was right, and he'd come to realize he didn't like him and was just tired of pretending. Whatever it was...he was certain it was because of him.

His eyes widened in shock when Chan started laughing in front of him. A big, deep laughter that made him feel even smaller than he already felt.

"Min, I'm sorry...please don't look at me like that," he held back his laughter, mirroring the frown that took over his face.

"Why are you laughing??" he whispered looking down as he nervously played with his hands in his lap.

"Because I got us all excited, and I don't even have a condom," he snickered, quickly glancing down at their laps, their now hardened cocks equally tenting their dress pants just barely pressed against one another. He looked back up at him, that frown still plastered on his face, staring to break his heart as it painfully started back at him.

"Baby, you did nothing wrong, okay," he cooed, cupping his cheek and gently tracing small circles into his skin. He wasn't sure why Seungmin needed so much reassurance from him, but he was more than happy to give it to him because he really did like him. Whether Seungmin chooses to believe him or not.

He liked how distant and to himself the younger was. He was colder, not necessarily mean; he just assumed he was introverted, but he liked it. He liked his fluffy-looking black hair, especially on days when he came to work with it slicked back, showing off his forehead.

He scolded himself when he caught himself mindlessly staring at him. He adored how round his eyes were, how they were meant to be intimidating, but he couldn't help but think they were the softest things to look into.

And his smile.. like isn't enough of an expression, too much of an understatement. Maybe it was love, admiration, worship...he wasn't sure, but it was probably the best thing he could ever have the pleasure of seeing; something so unique, so fragile...a once in a lifetime find.

He'll never forget the way he felt when he saw his smile for the first time, not his normal shy grin or the fake one he'd give when talking with someone, but his real, genuine, authentically bright, and beautiful smile.

It wasn't even directed at him, yet he still remembers the feeling when he glanced up and caught the quickest glimpse of it—the most breathtakingly attractive smile he's ever witnessed before.

It's almost like he brought life to him and gave his world meaning at that moment. He wanted him...needed him. He needed to have that smile be a part of his life.

He longed to be the one that conjured such a divine feature from him. He hated that Seungmin didn't smile often. He never knew why. Why wouldn't the person with the prettiest smile in the world wouldn't make it their mission to show it off to everyone??

Seungmin was perfect and everything he desired in a person. In a way, he was almost exactly what he needed.

"We have to stop??" Seungmin timidly asked him. Logically, he knew they should, but he desperately hoped he'd say no because he was too far gone to care.
