I look next to me at the alarm clock as it beeps to wake me up; when I'm already awake. It's my third day without sleep so, two days later I'll get an hour or two of sleep.

I get ready for the company; to see her.

God, she was so perfect.

Letting the wolf beneath the layers of numbness out and I was lucky enough to witness it. She hates me more than before now, but I don't care as long as she's safe and under the same roof as I am, nothing else matters.

If I'm being precise with my tracking to her moves and emotional changes, after yesterday she'll start to be better. By better, I mean feeling and giving reactions, this means more hating for me.

I smile to myself. Can't wait, dove.

I reach the office and start finishing some papers till she arrives when my phone starts ringing and I frown at the caller ID.

"Yes, Dareen" I respond.

"Morning, Mughrabi; hope you're doing great"

"I am, is there something you want to say?"

"No, just checking up; you left the meeting yesterday on a rush, you never do that"

"I said there was an emergency and thank you for checking up" I say wanting this call over.

"Can I come over to your office sometime later?"

"Sure"

"When exactly?"

"Anytime, see what suits you"

I hear her sigh then, "Fine, Mughrabi, I just wanted to talk about- her voice trails off as I lose concentration when the door knocks and Aurora steps in.

I admire her beauty as she closes the door after her, she's letting her hair in a tiny ponytail today; wearing a red top with white pants that shows the length of her long legs, I frown.

Trouble, too much trouble.

"Dareen, I have to end the call" I say eyes on Aurora as she stands looking at me, her eyes calm; the storm from yesterday or the coldness from the previous week is gone.

", but wait I was talking about" she didn't get to finish her sentence because I hang up still looking at the girl in front of me.

She looks at the floor then up at me again, "if you want, I can come back later" she says, voice calm.

"No, it's fine" I reply with equal calmness "Sit, dove" I didn't mean for it to come out softly, but it did.

Her eyes found mine as she strutted closer her heels clicking on the floor and took her seat.

She took a deep breath then said "Look, I'm sorry for my outburst yesterday; I didn't think clearly"

", but" she assesses me with a firm gaze raising her pointer finger "I mean every word I said and I do not take any of it back"

"I didn't ask you to" I shrug.

She narrows her eyes at me "Can you please be clear and tell me what exactly are you doing?"

"I'm not doing anything"

"Exactly!" she raises her hands "Why? Why are you not doing anything?"

"Maybe you just need a release" I say tilting my head "or maybe I need it"

"You need what?"

You.

But I'm a coward and I won't say it. Not yet.

"Are you ready to start the session?" I ask changing the subject.

She raises a brow "Do I look like I have a choice?"

I smile "No"

"Then why did you ask?"

"I was just being noble"

She scoffs at that and says "Very noble" and I smile again as we start our session.
