It's been a week after my last seizure and Aurora has been spending nearly every hour with me. I've never been happier that I had a seizure. She goes with me to the company and leaves with me as well and the time I spend at home, she's always there; either playing with Knox or making food or watching movies or studying.

I also sleep more frequently these days; it's a thing I paid attention to recently. When she's around I find myself drifting off and sometimes I wake to find her sleeping at mine, too. I heard her tell Dionne that we're having intensive sessions so that's why she's spending more time here.

I cannot forget the sound of her voice and her sobbing as she pleaded for me to wake up. It hurt me that I was the cause of that pain she endured. It hurts more when she comes and doesn't find me and freaks out thinking something happened again. I feel like a burden and she has enough already.

Next week is the holiday event; it's an event that takes place at any beach country or city and all of the employees have fun there then come back after a week. The thing is I never went to this event except once and it was long ago. I didn't feel anything special so I always spent this time here working. This time I feel like if I went it'll help both of us. Also, if I said I'll stay she won't go; I know her too well now to expect her decisions and next moves.

"Dove?" I call as she spins in her chair at the counter looking at me. God, she looks perfect; wearing her pajamas, they always look so soft with her hair down or in a messy style atop her head and her pink cheeks due to the chilly air here. "Yes? Do you need something?", I nod and pat the couch next to me, "Come here".

She jumps off of the chair and rushes to my side as she sits on the couch next to me. "Yes, I'm here." I smile and tell her, "So, there's an upcoming annual event that always takes place at this time of the year." I sit up to explain.

"it's similar to a holiday, at a seaside city and everyone recharges there."

"Are you going? Dionne told me about it, yes, but I didn't understand from her enthusiasm." She laughs

"I don't normally go, but you should." I tell her, and she shakes her head answering "I'm not a party or beach person, I'll be comfortable here- What? Why are you smiling like that?" she asks confused.

"I knew you'd say no, but we both are going, dove," I tell her and she narrows her eyes, "Where are you testing me, Mr. Mughrabi?" I nod.

"I don't know, Omer." She says looking down, I lift her chin. "You should have some time for yourself, dove. Go swimming, dance, enjoy the world if you can and you'll have your friends with you too." She purses her lips, "Will you be there too?" I smile at her and raise a brow, "Didn't you hate my company, dove?" she looks away shyly, "I got used" she mutters.

"I'll be wherever you want, dove" she smiles and nods, "Then, I guess I can go, but are there any meetings?"

I shake my head, "No, but gatherings with colleagues of the firm and other associations too", she rolls her eyes at what I said. "What's wrong, dove?"

"Dareen" she blurts then widens her eyes at what she said. My smile widens, "I take it you know who is she now, is someone jealous, dove?" I say getting closer as she backs away, "What? Of course, not!" she exclaims.

"Then, why do I sense your disappointment, dove?", "I don't like her, she gives off bad vibes."

"Hmm, really?"

She giggles as I corner her on the couch leaning over her frame, "Yes, back off, pervert!" she slaps my shoulder lightly and I chuckle.

"Fine, I'll buy it," I say and she huffs standing up from her spot.

"I don't know how was she your girlfriend, even. You have a bad taste in women." She sticks out her tongue.

"No, I don't, dove"

"Really? Cause I feel the complete opposite."

I shrug, "Yes, I mean look in the mirror."

Her cheeks turn pink, "shut up, Omer" she says as she goes back to her spot on the counter.

"Where are we going anyways?" she asks.

"Ibiza, baby."
