Aurora's hands are around my neck. She's looking down at our feet, I stop us abruptly.
"Can we skip this part?" she says panting.
"Eyes. On. Me."
She sighs "Fine, but delete this part in the routine; it really confuses me, I feel like we'll tangle and fall together embarrassing ourselves!"
"If we fell together, we won't embarrass ourselves, dove"
She snaps her neck up looking at me after lowering it to look down again, I raise my brow at her and she huffs.
Then a mischievous smile appears on her lips and she stretches on her tippy toes making herself taller to reach my eye level and says, "Delete it for me, Mughrabi"
I feel heat surge up my neck at her gesture; I already have difficulty surviving the feeling of her in my arms and closeness.
"No" I deadpan.
She lets go and whirls away; letting me catch a whiff of her sweet perfume. God, her smell.
I control myself and thoughts, focusing with her.
"If you quit, you'll never learn" I state.
"Of course, Plato" she mocks.
"Come here, dove, your lesson is not done yet"
"No" she says throwing me a glance over her shoulder and I cross my arms as she smiles and sways her hips swishing her hair to the music dancing alone.
"Stop playing and get your ass here" I demand, but I feel myself smiling.
She gasps putting her hand on her chest dramatically feigning shock "Who knew that The Mughrabi can be rude like that!?"
"Oh, babe, if you told anyone, they'd tell you it's not a discovery" I say getting closer to her as she backs away playfully.
"So, you admit that you can be rude" she raises her hands counting on her fingers, she didn't take off the rings since that day.
"And arrogant, and goes around giving orders, and meddlesome" she's still counting as I watch her with amusement.
"What else, dove?" she drops her hands
"You can't go around doing all of that just because you're a handsome suit man who has authority!"
"So, you think I'm handsome?"
"I was mocking you, there's better anyways"
she says playing with me then she spins to go for the other side of the space when I catch her wrist trapping her against the wall.
I watch her cheeks get pink as her breath catches, "What did you say again?"
She challenges me "I said there's better"
I smile letting her go "I feel pity for your body especially that it's still delicate"
She crosses her arms "And why would you feel bad for me?"
"Because you'll regret you said that" I say.
She furrows her brows confused "What?" I spin replaying the song.
"Start again, dove"
She drops her arms and looks at me questioningly when I pull a chair and sit watching her.
"Alone, 10 times" I finish.
"You can't-
"One"
She opens her mouth then closes it and obeys anyways. That's my good girl.
