Another week passed and today I'm having a meeting with the interns and mentors to discuss the upcoming opening event; they call it a ball, but every one of them is considered just an event for me.

I was on my way to my office when Dionne interrupted my way, "Hi, Mughrabi!"

"Yes, Dionne"

"I have stuff to discuss with you about the campaign and I need advice with something concerning Elio too"

I can't stand this guy, since the day I saw him try to approach her, I felt fire and the need to fuck him up in the points and grades every day when he lays eyes on her.

"What's with him?" I ask already irritated.

"I don't know, I taught several candidates before, but I think he needs more support"

"Support?" I raise my brows

"Yes, from one of the interns, if you're okay" she says playing with her fingers. She's asking for something.

I narrow my eyes at her "and what does this have to do with me exactly?"

"I mean, Ro is already on top of her grades and ahead of the other interns"

"No" I deadpan.

"I didn't even continue what I was saying!"

"No" I repeat heading for my office with her after me.

"Just an hour a day, Mughrabi!"

"No"

"An hour a week, please"

I stop and look at her "Why her?"

"Because she's perfect! She'll be a great help!" she says looking to the side.

"You're omitting something, Dionne"

"What!? Nothing"

I cross my arms and she sighs "fine, I want them to have a shot together"

My blood boils and I clench my fist, "Is this a suitable place to play matchmaker, Dionne?"

She presses her lips together, "Did she say she wants something?" I push.

"No! God no, she declines every time I bring up that subject; she even rejected him when he approached!"

That's my girl.

"So, why are you getting them to spend time together when she already doesn't want?"

"Maybe she'll change her mind! God, Mughrabi they're so similar and cute together"

"Enough, Dionne" she snaps her mouth shut.

"You don't have my approval for my intern to tutor yours and stop getting this kind of issues into work; this is serious" I say firmly

"Fine, but I'll look for someone else, he needs the help"

Stupid.

"Fine" I say going back to where I was going when she calls after me, "Where are you going? We have a meeting!"

"I'll be there" I say as I enter my office and get the box in my pocket out placing it in the drawer that has her CV then head out.
