Y/N L/N took a deep breath as she stood before the towering glass building of Tomioka Industries. The sleek, modern structure gleamed under the early morning sun, its mirrored surface reflecting the bustling cityscape around it. As she adjusted the strap of her leather handbag, she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness. Today marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life—a prestigious position as the secretary to the CEO of one of the most powerful companies in the country.

The lobby of Tomioka Industries was just as impressive as the exterior. The floor was a polished marble that echoed with the sound of her heels as she walked across it. A grand chandelier hung from the high ceiling, casting a soft, warm glow over the space. Large, abstract paintings adorned the walls, adding a touch of sophistication to the already luxurious environment. Employees in sharp suits and crisp dresses moved with purpose, their expressions serious and focused.

Y/N approached the reception desk, where a well-groomed woman with perfectly styled hair greeted her with a professional smile.

"Good morning. How may I assist you?" the receptionist asked, her voice polite but distant.

"Good morning," Y/N replied, her own voice steady despite the butterflies in her stomach. "I'm Y/N L/N. I’m starting today as Mr. Tomioka's secretary."

The receptionist's smile widened slightly as she tapped a few keys on her computer. "Ah, yes, Ms. L/N. Welcome to Tomioka Industries. I'll notify Mr. Tomioka's office that you've arrived. Please take a seat; someone will be with you shortly."

Y/N nodded and thanked her before moving to one of the plush leather chairs arranged neatly in the waiting area. As she sat down, she took a moment to observe her surroundings more closely. The atmosphere in the lobby was cool and professional, almost sterile. The employees who passed by barely acknowledged each other, their expressions serious and focused. There was a sense of urgency in the air, as if every second counted.

She glanced around, noting the state-of-the-art technology integrated into every aspect of the space. Digital screens displayed the company's latest achievements, highlighting its dominance in various industries, from technology to logistics. Despite the modernity, something about the place felt... off. Y/N stood and shook his hand, noticing the firm grip and the way his gaze briefly scanned her, assessing her in a way that made her feel both exposed and scrutinized. She offered a polite smile, masking her discomfort.

"Thank you," she replied. "I'm eager to get started."

Hiroshi nodded and led her to a set of elevators at the far end of the lobby. As they ascended to the upper floors, Y/N couldn't help but notice the subtle tension in the air. Hiroshi remained silent, his eyes focused on the digital display above the elevator doors. She tried to make small talk, asking about the company culture, but his responses were brief and guarded, giving away little.

The elevator doors opened to reveal a sleek, minimalist hallway lined with frosted glass walls. The floor was covered in a soft grey carpet that muffled their footsteps. At the end of the hallway was a large set of double doors, which Hiroshi opened with a keycard.
