Y/N sat at her desk, her eyes unfocused as she stared at the screen in front of her. The past few days had been a whirlwind of revelations, and she still felt like she was struggling to keep her head above water. The weight of what she had discovered about Tomioka Industries—about Giyuu—pressed down on her like a leaden blanket. She was caught in the crossfire of her growing feelings for Giyuu and the chilling reality of the illegal operations she had become entangled in.

She rubbed her temples, trying to ward off the headache that had been building since that fateful conversation with Giyuu. His cold admission of the company's involvement in illegal arms manufacturing still echoed in her mind, a stark contrast to the man she had thought she was beginning to understand. And now, instead of distancing her from the chaos, he was pulling her even closer to the heart of it.

It had started subtly, with Giyuu assigning her more complex tasks, but it soon escalated. She found herself sitting in on meetings with high-ranking officials, poring over documents that were anything but above board. It was as if Giyuu was determined to keep her close, perhaps to protect her, but also to ensure her silence. The more she knew, the harder it would be for her to walk away.

"Y/N," Giyuu's voice pulled her from her thoughts, and she looked up to see him standing in her doorway, his expression unreadable. "I need you to come with me."

Her stomach twisted at the serious tone in his voice. She had become accustomed to Giyuu's stoicism, but there was something different in his demeanour now—something that made her uneasy.

"Where are we going?" she asked, rising from her chair.

"There's a situation that needs immediate attention. I need you to assist me," he said, his eyes locking onto hers. "It's important."

Y/N hesitated, but she knew there was no room for argument. Whatever this "situation" was, it wasn't something she could refuse. With a nod, she followed him out of the office, her heart pounding in her chest.

As they made their way to the lift, Y/N noticed the tension in the air. The usual calm and composed atmosphere of Tomioka Industries was replaced by an undercurrent of anxiety. Employees hurried through the halls, their expressions guarded, their conversations hushed. Something was definitely wrong.

The lift ride was silent, the only sound was the soft hum of the machinery as they descended to one of the lower levels. Y/N's mind raced with possibilities, each one more unsettling than the last. What could be so important that Giyuu needed her help? And why was he involving her in something so critical?

When the lift doors opened, Y/N found herself in a part of the building she had never seen before. The walls were bare, the lighting dim, and the atmosphere felt heavy, almost oppressive. Giyuu led her down a long corridor, his steps purposeful, until they reached a large steel door guarded by two men in black suits. They nodded at Giyuu and opened the door without a word.

Inside, the room was sparse, with a large table at the centre surrounded by monitors displaying various security feeds. A group of men and women, all of whom Y/N recognized as high-ranking officials, were gathered around the table, their expressions grim. As Giyuu and Y/N entered, the conversation halted, and all eyes turned to them.

"Mr. Tomioka," one of the men, a tall, stern-looking figure, spoke up. "We've secured the shipment, but there was a breach in our delivery route. We suspect someone on the inside is feeding information to the authorities."

Y/N felt a chill run down her spine. A breach? An insider? The implications were dire.

Giyuu's expression hardened, and he took a seat at the table, motioning for Y/N to sit beside him. "What's the status of the shipment now?" he asked, his voice cold and precise.
