Y/N's mind was still buzzing with the discoveries she and Haruto had made. The encrypted files, the strange invoices, the cryptic emails—it all pointed to something far beyond the typical operations of a company. She couldn't deny it any longer: Tomioka Industries was involved in something dangerous, possibly illegal. And at the centre of it all was Giyuu Tomioka, the enigmatic CEO who had remained an enigma to her from the very beginning.

As she sat at her desk the next morning, Y/N couldn't shake the memory of the previous night's findings. The office seemed different now, the familiar surroundings tinged with a sense of foreboding. Every glance from a passing colleague felt like a potential threat, every whispered conversation a secret waiting to be uncovered.

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sudden arrival of Giyuu himself, striding into the office with a purposeful air that sent a ripple of tension through the room. His expression was hard, his eyes sharper than usual, as he headed straight for his office without so much as a glance at anyone. Y/N watched him go, her curiosity piqued. Something was definitely wrong.

She had barely had time to process his arrival when the intercom on her desk buzzed. Giyuu's voice crackled through the speaker, cold and controlled as ever. "Y/N, I need you in my office. Now."

Y/N's heart skipped a beat. She quickly gathered her things, smoothing down her blouse as she made her way to his office. The closer she got, the more she could sense the tension emanating from behind the closed door. Whatever had happened, it had clearly shaken Giyuu.

When she entered the office, Giyuu was standing by the window, his back to her. The usual calmness in his demeanour was gone, replaced by a rigid posture that hinted at the storm brewing inside him. The morning light cast sharp shadows across his figure, highlighting the tautness in his shoulders.

"Is everything alright, Mr. Tomioka?" Y/N asked cautiously as she closed the door behind her.

For a moment, Giyuu didn't respond. He seemed lost in thought, staring out at the city skyline with an intensity that made Y/N uneasy. Then, finally, he turned to face her, his expression unreadable.

"We've had a setback," he said, his voice clipped. "A shipment was intercepted."

Y/N's breath caught in her throat. This was the first time Giyuu had ever spoken so openly about the company's operations, and the seriousness in his tone made it clear that this was no ordinary shipment. She knew better than to ask for details, but the implications were enough to make her blood run cold.

"I'm sorry to hear that," she replied, choosing her words carefully. "Is there anything I can do to help?"

Giyuu's eyes narrowed slightly, as if weighing whether to trust her. "This is a delicate matter, Y/N. One that requires discretion and efficiency. I need you to handle some of the fallout—clean up the mess, so to speak."

Y/N nodded, though her mind was racing. Clean up the mess? What did that even mean? She had no idea what was expected of her, but the urgency in Giyuu's voice left no room for hesitation.

"What do you need me to do?" she asked, steeling herself for whatever task he might assign her.

Giyuu studied her for a moment, his gaze piercing. "I need you to coordinate with Haruto on this. He'll provide you with the necessary information. But, Y/N," he added, his tone growing more serious, "you are not to discuss this with anyone else. Understood?"

Y/N felt a chill run down her spine at the intensity of his words. "Understood, Mr. Tomioka."

Giyuu gave a curt nod, his expression softening just a fraction. "Good. You've proven yourself to be capable, Y/N. I'm counting on you."
