The echo of Giyuu's boots against the cold, hard concrete floor was deafening in the silent tension that gripped the air. He moved with sharp precision, every muscle in his body coiled with alertness. Haruto followed close behind, leading the main attack team as they infiltrated the enemy base. The place was dark, dank, and eerily familiar, as though its walls had seen too much bloodshed and held too many secrets.

The mission was clear: rescue Y/N, retrieve the stolen documents, and destroy this enemy faction once and for all. Giyuu's mind raced, replaying the events of the past few hours. The kidnapping. The note. The fact that the enemies had not only taken Y/N but also important blueprints for a new ammunition supply that could turn the tide of power. It wasn't just her life on the line—it was the company's future.

Haruto led the way, guiding the team deeper into the enemy's territory with an unsettling ease. He moved like a man who knew exactly where to go, which corridors to take, which traps to avoid. Giyuu's sharp eyes never left him. He was an expert strategist and a trusted friend, but something gnawed at the back of Giyuu's mind—a whisper of doubt. Haruto's familiarity with this place... the way he moved, as if he had been here before.

But Giyuu pushed the thought away. Haruto has been by my side since day one. He would never betray me.

They passed a bloodied room where the rest of their team had engaged in brutal combat with the enemy forces, their gunfire and shouts echoing down the long corridors. Giyuu remained focused. The objective was straight ahead. His grip tightened around his weapon, the adrenaline pumping in his veins as he steeled himself for what lay ahead.

At last, they reached a set of heavy iron doors. Haruto stepped forward, punching in a code without hesitation. The door creaked open slowly, revealing a dimly lit room.

And there she was.

Y/N was chained to the stone wall at the far end of the room. Her wrists were bound above her head, the ropes biting into her skin. Her clothes were torn, but unlike the last time she was taken, her body bore no new visible injuries. She was conscious, her eyes wide and filled with a mixture of fear and relief as she met Giyuu's gaze.

"Y/N," Giyuu breathed, his heart twisting at the sight of her in such a vulnerable state. He immediately stepped forward, his instinct to protect her overriding everything else.

But before he could reach her, a slow clap echoed from the shadows.

A figure emerged from the darkness, clapping with a mocking smirk plastered across his face. The man was tall, dressed in a sleek black suit that contrasted sharply with the grimy, desolate surroundings of the enemy base. His hair was slicked back, and his eyes gleamed with a chilling satisfaction.

"Well, well," the man drawled, a grin spreading across his face. "I must say, I'm impressed. You came all this way, fought through my men, all for a girl. How touching."

Giyuu's jaw clenched as he glared at the man. This was the leader—the one responsible for Y/N's suffering. His hand tightened around his weapon, his mind racing. He was ready for this confrontation, prepared to do whatever it took to bring Y/N back.

"I'm not here for pleasantries," Giyuu said coldly. "Let her go."

The man's smile only widened as he took a step forward, completely unfazed. "I'm afraid it's not that simple. You see, I'm not just holding her because she's a convenient pawn. She's leverage. Leverage that I need to get something much more valuable from you."

Giyuu's eyes narrowed. He had expected as much. The blueprints. He glanced at Haruto, who was standing beside him, silent and tense. There was no way he was handing over the blueprints—not when it would give the enemy the power to wreak even more destruction. Not when it would jeopardize everything they had worked for.
