“Stark”
MALIBU WAS A GOLDEN CITY OF OPPORTUNITIES,
shining like a star hidden amongst the dunes of the California coastline. It was a beautiful sight to see, glittering silver and golden under the warm light of day with towering buildings and luxurious homes only to be made all the more alluring by the sapphire blue waters that lapped rhythmically against the pearly white shore nearby. Salty, cool winds brushed gently through her unbound curls of ebony, the spring sun illuminated her skin in amber ribbons of light, and a smirk on her crimson painted lips; Maggie Stark drove through the winding and twisting roads of the Malibu Coastline.
One could almost get used to this, Maggie would think to herself as she took in the glimmering beauty that was the ocean side town. Dark, knowing eyes hidden by the favor of her sunglasses, would look on at the soft sandy dunes, impressive beach houses that reeked of old and new money that littered the shorelines, undoubtably owned by the ultra wealthy she would note as she would drive by them.
“Its absolutely not fair that you get to parade around Malibu looking after some pampered rich dude, while I am stuck in Washington doing freaking paperwork and coordination meetings.” a static and electronic tinged voice would call out into the salty tinged air. Emitting from the built in bluetooth and touch screen intelligence system, a common thing found in all S.H.I.E.L.D issued vehicles just like the sleek sports car Maggie herself was driving.
Though most tended to choose the more practical choices of undercover vehicles for missions, like an SUV or a Cadillac as Janic the supply manager for S.H.I.E.L.D's weapons inventory vault and vehicle distribution had more than happily suggested. Sadly for Janic, practical and illusive wasn't ever really her style.
