last session i didnt want to go to class. it was english and there's no point unless lizzie's there. i headed outside and saw roses soccer team practicing they were doing drills all of today because of their big game on saturday.

i was taking a seat on the bleaches when i see monica ditching class too. i was about to text her to come over but i saw rose ditching the practice.

they didn't even see me until they came under the bleaches.
"i missed you" rose giggled putting her hands on monica's waist. oh my god.

"i missed you more" monica smiled back before they pulled eachother in for a kiss.

oh my god.

i dropped down from the seats shocking them both. i knew it would be too awkward for me to keep this secret.

"y/n!" monica shouted making rose confused before seeing me. she also jumped back.

"so you're both the "guy" you guys have been saying you're seeing" they were too shocked to answer.

rose had to get back to her team and monica and i sat down talking.
"tell me everything mons, right now"

"well we are in the same film class-" "and it was just innocent glances" "- she sat with me" " we started flirting-" "she might have come over once instead of practice"

"it sounds like a romance movie" monica nodded with a smile and i could tell she was love sick.

the bell went and rose came back. "now im just a third wheel" i said as the blond wrapped her arm over monica's shoulders.

"sorry for not telling you" i shrugged it off. rose and i were walking home as ashton took monica and i got roses side of the story.

"well i always thought monica was pretty, and then we were talking and in class then all night. it was so fun sneaking around and meeting up in the bathrooms" she was smiling and blushing while looking at the ground.

"are you guys official??" i asked dragging the word out.
"i want to ask her after my game on saturday"

when we got home scarlett was making the boys a snack in the kitchen. "hey girls how was school" she asked.

"good but i was burning in the sun all day" rose said grabbing left overs from the fridge and eating them cold.
scarlett made a comment about atleast heating it up but the girl didn't bother.

i tried to slip upstairs but scarlett asked me another question to quickly. "y/n, do you want some afternoon tea? we have some other snacks too"

"i'm okay" i shook my head and went up to mattie.

"when does lizzie get home" he asked "i need help with my hair"

"not until tomorrow night buddy" i said looking at his hair myself. "i can try and braid it but it won't be as good as her" i offered. lizzie knows how to deal with his curls. and that's only 1 out of the three of us.

then he said something that surprised me. "scarlett? do you know how to braid hair?" mattie hates talking to people. alone asking for something.

"yeah i do mattie"
"can you do mine please, lizzie usually does like 3 or 6 or whatever number she lets me pick. but i'm happy with just two to make it easier?"

"how many do you want today?"
"5" the boy smiled all shy. scarlett let out a small laugh and told the boy to follow her.

they disappeared to the bathroom and 20 minutes later she was back and married hair was done.
"WHAT THATS SO COOL, MUM DO MINE DO MINE" cosmo was shouting.

"cos yours is a little short but i can try" scarlett then braided cosmos hair. while mattie came to me.

"i like scarlett. she's like lizzie" colin walked in with dinner and placed the several bags on the kitchen table.

"hey girls" he brought rose and i in for side hugs without even thinking about it before greeting mattie. i stiffened but this guy is the least threatening man so i was fine.

cosmo came back in and ran over to his dad. "look dad mattie and i are matching"

"very handsome boys. looking good" he commented before greeting his wife. we all sat down for dinner and was was on her phone smiling.

"no phones at the table" scarlett said grabbing it.
"mum give it back"
"who's monica, you don't have friends" colin added.
"dad oh my god" rose grabbed her phone back and put it under her leg. they ate with a laugh and after dinner we had to sit and watch a movie.

everyone was heading up to bed. the boys had gone about an hour ago.
"hey y/n wait up a second" scarlett called out.

"do you want to take some melatonin now instead of 4 in the morning?" i just nodded maybe a good night sleep will be a nice change.

"thank you. goodnight scarlett"
"goodnight honey"

and off to sleep i went.
