i sat in science next to rose and we were playing that boxes game on her book. i was in a really good mood and i didn't know why.

"doesnt your dad get back from the loony bin tomorrow" braxton asked coming up to me with a paper ball as he threw it in the air a couple times.

"why do you care" i said staring at him
"just asking jeez" he threw the ball at us and walked off.

"does he?" rose asked quietly next to me. i turned to her an nodded.
all the bruises from last time aren't even fully healed yet i really don't feel like adding more to the mix.

our science drafts were handed back to us and so far my grade is looking at a c- which i'm quite happy with so i don't think i'm going to change it at all.

then i looked at roses and she had an A. well not everyone can be good at everything. i briefly looked at the feedback but i was passing so who cares.

soon after science finished and i met monica outside to go to art.

"we're going to the museum tomorrow to look at my art" i told her excitedly. she shared my excitement as we walked into the class.

"okay class todays we are making comic strips" the teacher explained as he handed out pieces of paper. "you girls can go ahead if you want" he said passing us a stack.

we nodded and i grabbed some already having a plan. "look at you go starting straight away, what are you planning" monica asked looking through the prompts on the board for ideas.

"im turning mattie into spider-man and making him his own comic. he liked the drawing i did of him so why not give him a comic" i explained and she nodded.

the ideas were just flowing. i got the cover done quickly. and the storyline was just making itself up. i out my music in and completely zoned out.

i didn't go into the tragic backstory but i drew lizzie as aunt may. and everything was turning out how i wanted it.

i didnt réalise thé whole class had left until sir was by my desk "may i?" he asked pointing to the stack of pages. i nodded and he flicked through the story.

"this is really good quality. i didn't know you could do stuff like this" he said inpressed i smiled at him as monica praised me aswell.

"am i able to stay in here this break i'm on a roll and i'd like to finish it" i asked him and he agreed instantly.

"of course, oh and i have a gift for you too" he said walking back to his desk and bringing me a brown paper bag.
i opened it as it was a 50 pack of brush pens. i thanked him trying it out only for it to be perfect for colouring in the comic.

"sharings caring" monica said as she tried them out aswell. sir said he will be back and i nodded going back to it.

after several more pages i finished and created the back cover page. i sat back for a second admiring my creation before drawing out a few of the spiderkid to pick my colours.

i only finsihed colouring like 3 pages before the bell went. i had maths next which was a bore but i may be able to colour more.

"can i borrow these for the weekend?" i asked sir
"y/n keep them, there're yours" he explained and i nodded grabbing the clear sleeve thing from my desk and putting the comic pages inside before putting that into the brown bag with the pens.

saying goodbye to sir we stepped out of the class and headed to maths. "how was your comic" i asked monica seeing as i barely looked up from mine all session.

"eh turned out okay but it's not really my thing, i suck at story telling" she explained and i nodded.

time skip to end of 4th session.

rose, her friend april, monica and i sat in lizzie's classroom on the couch enjoying the aircon. it was second break so our longer one.

"can i show you thé comic i made for mattie" i asked going over to her desk she nodded with a smile so i pulled it out to show her.

"this is amazing" she said reading and flipping through it. "is that me?" she questioned with a grin and i nodded reddening a little.

"your aunt may, everyone is someone in here" i explained she praised it more and as i was talking about it i heard monica call my name.

"y/n you got any food?" she asked going through my bag.

"no sorry"
"yes you do you liar" she laughed. bringing me over the lunch. confused i looked at lizzie who had laughed and gone back to her work.

"thanks lizzie" i told her quietly and left back to the group.

monica took the cookies and told me to eat the rest so i did since lizzie made it for me and i didn't want it to go to waste.

when i got home and showed mattie the comic he was ecstatic. he adored it and read it a million times laughing and pointing out all the easter eggs.

"tacos?" lizzie questioned from the kitchen. i shrugged and mattie asked to help.

so as they began cooking i started to draw the kitchen and them. each detail was perfect. i had a couple versions on the page of them laughing. lizzie showing mattie how to safely cut veggies. and another of them cooking.

i'm really going to miss this.
