Opal's pov
"SO! HOW HAS IT BEEN SINCE the kings have swept you off your feet?" Avalon leans in closer to me with a glass of wine in his hands. I looked at the glass feeling the not to foreign feeling of my throat drying up and picked up my own glass of sparkling water to take a sip.
The orchestra played in the back with soft tunes following every stroke from the artists.
"It's been great." I smiled, hoping it didn't seem too strained.
I watched people dance around the ballroom, hoping to Atleast find Ambrose or Florian in my glancing.
"That's it?" Avalon whines, leaning back in his chair, kicking his legs up so they could cross.
I chuckled awkwardly.
What else did he want me to say?
Zephyrine cleared his throat and kicked Avalon's foot under the table. "Do not mess with my guest, or shall I say my newest to be friend, he doesn't need the bother from you." He said teasingly before winking at me.
Philo rolls his eyes and popped a small cake into his mouth. "What Avalon is trying to ask is how is your intimacy with the kings?" I nearly choked off my spit which caused all three of them to laugh.
My wings dipped down, exposing my flushed nature.
"We aren't married yet.." I say, hopefully that they get the idea that we haven't done anything which would be false.
Zephyrine eyed me, honestly. All of them did.
