Opal's pov
I LOOK UP AT THE MOUNTAIN of wedding gifts piled up in the middle of the ballroom. Everyone had left, I had bathed and been smothered in sweet perfumes and lotions.
My hair was perfectly brushed out with flower clips clipped to my hair, Constantine made sure to make me look pretty the night of my wedding.
I gripped my robe and pursed my lips.
I don't know if I was nervous anymore, I spent most of the time at the reception dancing with the kings and stuffing each other's face with desserts.
I quite literally danced every ballroom dance with them and refused to sit down, I was sort of... tired?
I watched the servants pick from the gifts and line them up biggest to smallest. I almost felt bad for them, there were so many gifts...
"Hello, beautiful." Florian whispered in my ear making me jump.
"Hmm, who are you? I don't think my husband's would like you calling me beautiful." I looked at him from the side of my eye playfully.
Florian raised a brow, leaning closer to me. "Is that so? I'm sure they wouldn't like this either.." he cupped my face and kissed me on the lips, I opened up and his tongue swirls against mine.
I wrapped my arms around his neck as he deepened the kiss, before it got anymore intimate he pulled away, leaving me panting.
"Oh no I think they may kill you now." I giggled.
"I better get all I can get out of you then, hm?" He grabbed my waist, hauling me up. I jump and wrap my legs around his torso.
"Is that so—"
He attacked my mouth, viciously kissing me. I grabbed a handful of his hair, pulling him closer to me.
I hadn't realized but he carried me all the way to his and Ambrose bedroom. The doors opened immediately and Florian broke the kiss leaving me breathing heavy once more.
I rested my chin on his shoulder trying to catch my breath. "Florian, you couldn't wait for me? Not at all?" Ambrose opened the doors to their bedroom wider.
Florian walked in.
"Im sorry darling, it seemed like both of our timing was a bit off.." Florian placed me down on the bed gently and kissed Ambrose softly.
"I'll forgive you, I know it was just a mindless mistake, hm?" Ambrose tucked a hair strand behind Florian's ear.
Watching them love each other was completely refreshing, like a glass of cold water.
