Opal's POV
I LOOKED AT THE DIFFERENT silk shades of green and squinted my eyes. "I like this dark forest green here, make sure this is the exact color for the wedding and..."
I grabbed a rich gold from the other line of silks. "Pair it with this, these two colors at that beige white over there."
I walked down to a line of bouquets, servants and planner with notepads followed. "These two bouquets will do wonders, I want it all over the place for the wedding, make sure each guest get Atleast of of these flowers." I demanded, throwing the gardener the bouquets.
"As for cake flavor I want a mixture of lemon and vanilla for one cake and chocolate and coffee for another, for the assortment of wines I want them all white, no red wine at my wedding."
I skipped the cakes and went to decorations, I told them what I wanted for music, lights and performance and told them exactly how it should be, I wanted it flawless, no flaw was appreciated whatsoever.
"As for the curtains I want them tied up in a symbol which screams Mystaline... I want our guests to feel a certain pride entering the wedding."
I ended up finishing all of the wedding planning in a full day which was a shock to Constantine who surely believed to her absolute bone that it would take a week or two. After all the planning I made my way to the palace, I refused a carriage ride it made me feel up stuck and entitled.
I thought about what Ambrose and Florian told me, about Xazenthlieth. It was turning into a new country, the war was ending and peace was being spread. I couldn't save papa, and that pang in my chest was one that was not weak.
He deserved the world for being the best adopted father. A part of me wished he was my biological father but I couldn't change the past I had to make do with the present and wallowing in self pity wasn't on my future plans.
Constantine and Salia followed me panting. "Oh you walk too fast, your majesty." My heart dropped at the title and before I could correct her I held my tongue.
I was a soon to be king.
I had to get use to that.
"Keep up gals." I chuckled, marching into the palace. I was snatched by Florian as soon as I entered the building. "And hello to you too." I say a bit surprise, pecking his cheek as he kissed my nose.
"Hello my soon to be husband."
"A week if I'm correct." I nod my head and he raise his brow. "Oh I'm thrilled."
