It's okay babe Angela said it was hours after my water broke Jack made an appearance. They know we are in here and actually we are safe. The elevator will only move when the shooters been found.
They sat down Lucy completely zoned out Tim with his hand going to her bump when she winced.
After an hour Lucy's demeanour changed. Silence was deafening. Shit Lucy said panic filling her i i-i can't breathe she said I need to get out. Angela looked at Tim he took Lucy's face into his hands. Right babe what can we control here. Angela watched as Tim calmed her down. We can control us she said tears streaming.lets just worry about us then he said hugging her I'm scared she said what happens if something bad happens this baby is everything she said putting her hand on her belly. Tim kissed her. This baby is everything and will be everything he said placing her head against his. She calmed.
Another contraction hit Lucy breathed through it. Angela holding her hand the elevator doors could be pried open Tim's arms strained doing so. He looked around they were right on floor 6. All of a sudden he saw shooter carefully closing the doors. He gestured to Angela and Lucy to be quiet. Lucy had another contraction she took Angela's hand and Tim put his hand over her mouth. Tears started streaming out of her eyes.
Tim pulled her into a hug. It's okay he said. Hey Luce Tim said you doing alright. She smiled.
Tim used his phone camera to peer through the minuscule gap. They were still on the floor but he noticed armed police enter. The shooters open fire and all the police men fall Lucy jumped at each shot. Tim thought this was strange. She fired her weapon so often at the range and knew the sound. That's when it hit him. Right now she's not a police officer she's not even Lucy Chen. She's an expectant mother who was fucking terrified. Tim cradled her and covered her mouth when another contraction came.
10 minutes apart Angela said Tim looked puzzled her contractions. When they get to 5 we are close.

2 hours later Lucy was exhausted and her eyes were shutting ange can she sleep Tim asked best if she doesn't she said. Tim gently shook her shoulder she sat up. Stay awake baby he said.

All was quiet. No voices. 6 minutes apart Angela said looking at Lucy who was in agony.

30 minutes later Lucy was looking dehydrated and exhausted. Zoned out she was trying to preserve energy for her birth.
Tim looked at Angela. We have to get her out soon he said brushing her hair out of her face. I know said Angela.

Another round of shots. Shooter down shooter down. Tim recognised that voice Gray he said Angela perked up gray responded Bradford. In here Angela shouted. Get this open now Tim shouted Lucy's in labour we are trapped. Tim she said I can feel something her eyes panicked. What tim said returning to her side. I think I feel the head. No no no this can't be happening Lucy cried.
Prop her against you Angela said Tim lifted her body into his. Luce I'm going to check. Lucy nodded.

Y-ye- yep there's the head alright. Ok you're going to have to push now. She looked at Tim to give her some encouragement. Come on babe nearly there he said kissing her head. Lucy bared down and pushed. Her scream filled the elevator.
I can't do this she said breathless. Yes you can this is our family Tim said you can do it. We need you. You're the glue. You are everything that matters.
Lucy pushed down again and again. Breathing a sigh of relief and joy and her baby was out.
Silence compressing them until they heard the cry. Angela wrapped the baby in Lucy's cardigan and handed her the baby. It's a girl Angela said. Lucy had tears a girl she said Tim we have a girl. The cry was the sweetest sound. All three adults cried. Tim kissed Lucy as she cradled new life. Hey little one. The babies hand wrapped around Lucy's finger.
A few hours later they were safely in their own room. Lucy holding the baby now wrapped in a hospital blanket.
We need a name darling Tim said. I don't know Luce said still staring at their daughter Tim cuddled in to them. I like Livy he said Olivia she said any idea on the middle name. Both at the same time said Angela. And there she was Olivia Angela Bradford new to the world. Tim kissed Lucy and they looked lovingly at their daughter.
A while later Tim was cradling his girl when a knock at the door came. Angela came in. Hey she said I wanted to see how everyone was doing.
We are good thanks Luce said. Oh my goodness is this the lil bundle of joy. Lucy giggled yeah they both looked at Tim. Daddy looks good on you ange said.  Can I said Angela. Tim looked at Lucy who nodded. Tim passed his daughter to Angela. Do we have a name yet or is she still elevator baby? Angela asked looking up at tim and Lucy Tim replied yeah meet Olivia he said holding her tiny hand. Angela said hi liv. Lucy said Olivia Angela Bradford. Angela looked up really she said. The couple nodded and smiled Tim took Lucy's hand. Considering you delivered her yeah. The group laughed and Angela shed a tear.
The world was calm and quiet all was good.
