Lucy is struggling with the pain, every movement feeling like it takes an immense amount of effort. She's been trying to push through, but it's becoming harder to manage. She rests on the couch, trying to stay still, but even the smallest shift in position sends waves of discomfort through her body.

Tim notices how pale she looks and how she winces whenever she tries to adjust. He's concerned but doesn't want to overwhelm her. He quietly asks, "Do you need anything, love?" his voice soft, as if afraid she might be in more pain than she lets on.

Lucy looks up at him, her eyes tired. "I'm just really sore," she says, her voice strained. "It's hard to even move a little bit. But I'll be okay."

Tim gently strokes her arm, trying to offer comfort without pushing too much. "You don't have to be okay right now, Lucy. You need to rest. I'll take care of things."

Liv notices her mom's discomfort and stays close, her eyes filled with concern. She doesn't understand exactly what's going on but knows that her mom isn't feeling good. She's quiet, unsure of how to help.

Tim takes a deep breath, looking at both of them, and then moves to adjust Lucy's pillows, trying to find a position that will ease her pain a little. "Why don't you rest here, babe? I'll make sure everything is okay with Liv and Harry."

Lucy nods, too tired to protest. "Thank you," she whispers, leaning back and closing her eyes, trying to relax as much as possible despite the pain.

Tim gently takes Liv from Lucy and says "Come cuddle with daddy," she doesn't protest. Tim smiles softly as Liv's eyes grow heavier, her small body leaning more and more against him as she fights sleep. He continues gently stroking her face, his movements calm and soothing. Her eyelids flutter, and her head slowly tilts backward, unable to stay up any longer.

Lucy watches the scene from the couch with a small smirk, noticing how peaceful Liv looks despite her little struggles to stay awake. She can't help but feel a sense of warmth seeing Tim's tenderness with their daughter.

"She's out," Lucy murmurs, amused, as Liv's head drops completely onto Tim's chest.

Tim looks down at Liv, his expression soft. "I think you're right. I swear she was fighting it a second ago."

Lucy chuckles quietly, adjusting herself on the couch as she relaxes. "She's so stubborn," she says affectionately. "But she does love her cuddles."

Tim nods, carefully shifting Liv to make her more comfortable. "She's definitely your little one." He kisses her forehead lightly, his love for both of them clear in his eyes.

Liv continues to snore lightly on Tim's lap, content and safe in her dad's arms, while Lucy watches the two of them, feeling a deep sense of peace despite the earlier chaos.

Tim's eyes widen when he sees Lucy wince, his heart racing with panic. "Lucy, are you okay?" he asks, his voice full of concern. He quickly shifts Liv gently off his lap, placing her carefully on the couch before rushing over to Lucy.

Lucy tries to mask the pain, her face contorting slightly as she shifts again, her body sore from the constant discomfort. "I'm fine," she whispers, though the tightness in her voice betrays her. "It's just... the pain. It's been a bit much today."

Tim kneels beside her, his hands hovering, unsure if he should touch her or not. "Let me help, Lu. Do you need anything?" His worry is palpable, and his gaze flickers to her side, instinctively wanting to check on her bandages.

Lucy shakes her head, trying to reassure him. "I just need to rest for a little while longer. It's nothing to worry about."

Tim doesn't seem convinced, his brow furrowing as he watches her. "You're sure? You've been hurting all day. I think you should see someone."
