The soft morning light seeped into the bedroom as Tim stirred awake. He blinked, glancing at Lucy sleeping peacefully beside him. For once, there was no tiny body wedged between them—Liv must have stayed in her own bed. He smiled to himself, relishing the rare quiet moment, and rolled over to wrap an arm around Lucy.

As he pressed a kiss to her shoulder, Lucy stirred, her lips curving into a sleepy smile. "Morning," she murmured, her voice still husky with sleep.

"Good morning, beautiful," Tim whispered, nuzzling closer. He trailed kisses along her neck, his intentions clear, but before he could get far, a wail echoed from the baby monitor on the nightstand.

Tim groaned dramatically, burying his face in the crook of Lucy's neck. "And there goes my morning plan," he muttered, making her laugh softly.

"Go get him, superdad," Lucy teased, gently nudging him.

With a playful grumble, Tim got out of bed and headed to Harry's nursery. He returned moments later, carrying a fussy Harry in his arms. "Look who's up and ready to steal the spotlight," Tim said as he handed Harry to Lucy.

Lucy sat up, cradling their baby boy close. "Good morning, my sweet boy," she cooed, pressing a kiss to his head. Harry instantly calmed in her arms, his little hand clutching her shirt.

Tim leaned against the doorway, watching them with a soft smile. "You two make it very hard to leave," he said, heading to the dresser to grab his running gear.

"Go on, or you'll never make it out the door," Lucy teased, rocking Harry gently.

Tim chuckled as he changed into his running clothes. He kissed both Lucy and Harry on the head before heading out, promising to be back soon.

When Tim returned, slightly sweaty and energized from his run, the comforting smell of breakfast greeted him. He stepped into the kitchen to find Lucy at the stove, flipping pancakes with Harry balanced on her hip. Liv was on the floor nearby, happily engrossed in her toys.

"Smells amazing in here," Tim said, walking over. He held out his hands for Harry. "Come here, little man."

Lucy handed Harry over with a smile, and Tim gently placed him in his bouncer. "There we go, buddy. Let's give Mama a little break."

Tim then turned to Lucy, wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her close. "And now, for you," he said, pressing a lingering kiss to her lips.

Lucy melted into the kiss, her hands resting on his chest. "Morning runs make you extra affectionate," she teased softly.

"Or maybe it's just you," Tim countered with a grin.

Their moment was interrupted by a loud grunt from Harry. Both turned to see him staring at them intently from his bouncer, his little legs kicking in protest.

Tim laughed, shaking his head. "What's up, buddy? Are you jealous because I'm loving on Mama?"

Harry squealed in response, making Lucy laugh. She walked over and scooped him up, pressing kisses to his cheeks. "Oh, my little attention-stealer," she said, bouncing him gently.

Harry giggled, his tiny hands reaching out to touch her face. Tim leaned against the counter, watching them with a look of pure adoration. "He's got good taste," Tim said, his voice warm.

Lucy smiled at him, holding Harry close. "He sure does," she said softly, feeling her heart full as their family shared this simple, happy morning together.

As Lucy stood by the stove, holding Harry in her arms, she started making funny faces at him. Her eyes widened comically, her lips puckered in exaggerated movements, and her eyebrows danced up and down.
