It's been about two months and it's now the time of the Thanksgiving get together. Me, Miles, Isabelle, and Julian have gotten closer and they are coming along. I had to basically force them to.

We're having it at Athena's house. Athena is Bobby's girlfriend. I met her a few weeks ago. She's nice, unless she's in cop mode. She can be very stern when she's in cop mode.

"Lydia! Let's go." Miles says as he parks in Athena's driveway. Isabelle and Julian are already getting out. I get out of the car and we go up to the front door. Miles knocks on the door and we stand there for a few seconds before Bobby opens the door.

"Hey kids. Come on in." Bobby says, moving out of the way. I walk inside, Miles, Isabelle, and Julian follow me in. "Dinners almost ready, but Lydia. There's people here to see you." Bobby says, a nervous look on his face.

I look at him confused. That's when I hear a familiar voice. My Grandma. What the hell is she doing here? I walk down the stairs and see Grandma, Grandpa, My Aunt Sophia, and my cousin Anna. My mouth drops.

"Lydia? What is it?" Isabelle asks. "It's uh- It's my grandparents." I say. "Do you not have a good relationship with them?" Julian asks. I shake my head as I watch them interact with the rest of the 118. They laugh and talk as if they didn't hurt me or hurt Dad in anyway.

That pisses me off. I feel anger bubbling up inside me as I clench my fists. "Lydia! Come say hi." Dad says from the table. I walk over, my fists by my side. "Long time no see, stranger." Anna says. I smile sarcastically at her. "Where's Chris?" I ask.

"Carla's on his way with him." Dad says. I nod slightly. "How's school going?" Grandad asks. They sent out computers for students to work on their schoolwork. All of the other high schools were so far ahead that if any of us had enrolled there, we would've failed. At least, that's what the state thinks.

"She's having to do it online this year." Dad says. "Online? Don't tell me you're letting your anxiety get the best of you again. You always used that as an excuse." Grandma says with a scoff. "No. An earthquake happened. It had nothing to do with her. Wasn't her fault." Dad says, rolling his eyes.

My leg starts bouncing as Grandma starts talking again. "You know. You should just put her in another school. She never did well when we had to pull her out of school due to her little sickness she had." Grandma says. My hands shake in my lap as my leg bounces more.

"Truly, she just can't work under pressure. She cracks and shuts down on herself. It became quite stressful to deal with." Grandma says. I get up from my chair and walk away. I go up the stairs and go out the house.

I pace up and down the crosswalk, trying to contain my anger. I have a hard time controlling my anger. I have a lot of anger issues.

I can't believe they would just show up here. After everything they've done. They tried taking me and Chris away from Dad. It destroyed Dad. He never thought they'd even ask for custody of us. But they did. And it made him angry. Really angry. I had never seen him that angry before that day.
