It's been about three weeks since the whole argument with Miles and he isn't talking to me. So, I guess that's it. We're over.

Honestly, I get why he's mad. I was talking to his bully. But on the other hand, I didn't know. How is that my fault? All I do is look after him and Dahlia and this is how I get treated?

Maybe it's a good thing we aren't talking.

I've been piled with homework from my Science teacher because she thinks we aren't learning anything.

I have to research things about stars then write those things down. I also have to answer questions out of our book. So, that's fun. I also have Math and English homework. Oh, and I also have to study for three tests.

I'll be in my room the whole night at this point.

"Lydia, there's someone here to see you." Dad says as he opens my door. "It's not Miles, is it?" I ask. "No. It's Isabelle and Julian. They're in our kitchen." Dad says.

I put my pencil down and stand up before walking towards our kitchen.

"Hey, Lyds." Julian says. "Hi? What are you guys doing here?" I ask, Buck is also here. Which doesn't really surprise me. He's been here a lot recently.

"We heard about the argument with Miles." Isabelle says. "Argument?" Dad repeats as he also walks into the room. "It was nothing big." I say. "He's no longer talking to you, so yeah, it's big." Julian says.

"Why is it any of your business, Julian?" I ask. "Because you were talking to someone who used to bully him. Bully us actually." Julian says. "For goodness sake, I didn't know." I say, crossing my arms.

"Plus, I'm not going to stop talking to Nate so.." I say. "Wow. showing your true colors, huh, Diaz?" Julian says, raising his eyebrows. "He did something for me. I can't just stop talking to him." I say. "What do you mean? He's not a nice person." Isabelle asks.

"He's the reason I'm standing here." I say. "I probably would've died in the tsunami if it wasn't for him." I say. Buck looks over at Dad. "What?" Julian asks. "I was on a street, I don't remember which one but he found me. I was probably about to bleed out. I had given up. There was no energy left in me." I say.

"Oh my god.." Julian says. "Why would he save you though? He's the most heartless person I know." Isabelle asks. "I don't know but he did. And he keeps talking to me. He wants to be friends so I'm not just going to cut him off." I say.

"Maybe he changed, Bells." Julian says. "Try telling Miles that. He won't believe us." Isabelle says. "Miles sent you, didn't he?" I ask. "Yea." Julian says. "Since when were you guys on talking terms again?" I ask. "About a week ago. We asked where you were but he avoided the topic. Until yesterday." Isabelle says.

"Maybe he knows he's wrong." I say, shrugging my shoulders. "I wouldn't say that." Julian says. "Just leave." I say. "Whatever. You'll regret it. Losing someone like him." Isabelle says before the both of them head towards the front door.

"Losing someone like us." Julian says before walking out the door, Isabelle follows him. I look over at Buck and Dad. They both look confused and or concerned.

"Don't ask me.. I have no idea what's going on in my life right now." I say before walking back to my room.
