Both Y/n and Tessa sat in the spare bedroom of the Doorman's home, Tessa flicking through the channels. Y/n stood up, limping to the other side of the room, using the wall for support as he turned on the fan, stripping off his top layers until just in the bodysuit. "You just gonna flip through or pick something to watch?" He chuckled as he continued to hear the constant flickering through the channels. Tessa sat up out of her slump, an awkward chuckle escaping her lips as she finally landed on some random cooking. "Sorry, just a lotta channels I ain't used to." She sheepishly gave her reason, scratching awkwardly behind her neck. Y/n not exactly surprised. When they had their own home for a bit, there were only 20 channels, not 200+.

His focus wasn't really on the TV channel; he couldn't care less about the pros of making uniquely shaped cakes. He had more pressing issues in mind. Sitting back next to her, nudging her shoulder. "Hey, are you really okay? What happened while you were gone?" His worry was evident, Tessa taking a pause, taking in a deep breath. "Well... I think so. I dunno, I just don't really reckon these past few months as happening. It all just felt so... dull. The days are too blurry, so I can't answer." It was blatant that he really wasn't happy with this type of response, looking displeased. With a sigh, Tessa leaned over, giving him a tight hug. 'Listen, I'm okay. I'm back and safe. It doesn't matter what happened before, alright...?' She whispered, trying to ease his mind, and felt he had no choice but to accept the answer.

Returning the hug the siblings sat their in the peace of the embrace for a few minutes, Y/n the first to try and pull away, and Tessa herself went to pull away, but seemed to hesitate, as if her arms locked in place, having to force herself to stop the hug, chuckling awkwardly. "Heh, sorry bout that." She didn't specify more; instead, she layed on the bed. "It's a bit cold, dontcha think?" She hummed our, motioning to the ceiling fan and AC on high. "Really? I'm damn near sweating... Maybe I'm sick? Could I have gotten the flu or something like that?" Y/n wondered aloud, Tessa's reaction unreadable as her helmet was pitch black, looking straight towards him. 'Yeah... something like that.' She mumbled, voice sounding a bit distant. Before being able to respond further, J stormed in, stopping in front of Y/n and crossing her arms. "Take it off." Her voice was stern and unwavering, Y/n confused for a moment.

"I'm sorry, what?" "The mask. Take it off or I will. 5." A chuckle escaped Y/n's lips, looking over amused, glancing back to Tessa to see if he was just mishearing before looking back to J "Excuse me?" "4." She continued; it started to dawn on him that the seriousness of the situation was becoming clear. "Are you honestly counting me down like I'm a-" "3." Her tone was more aggravated, showing no sign of stopping. Muttering curses in annoyance, he reached behind his head, cursing under his breath while undoing the clamps. Setting the mask on the desk, he sat there in silence, throwing his hands up after a minute. "Well...? You happy now? Mask is off." J's gaze squinted, able to see the pearly set of white teeth for a glimpse or two while he spoke. "..." She turned around and left the room without a word, Y/n rubbing his eyes. "What was that about?" Tessa hummed, messing with the hat on her helmet. "She's just worried because a worker played a prank, acting like I lost all my teeth, and she fell for it." A slight hum left Tessa's head tilting softly. 'Interesting...' She muttered, tapping her fingers against the remote before focusing back on the TV. Contemplating whether to put the mask back on or not, he decided against it, just wanting to sleep. His mind was feeling groggy, a headache that's been growing since last night, wondering how much damn longer these nanites are gonna be stuck in his system.

Inside Lizzy's bedroom, V lay upside down on the bed, absent-mindedly blowing bubbles out into the air, idiotic communication filling the room, mainly gossip stories, like always, which wasn't new to her. She did not care about who's screwing who and half their boyfriends being man whores whatever that is. Her attention was only drawn when two new drones she had never met before walked in, both wearing the cheerleader outfit with acid-green hair. "Hiii!" One of them cheered obnoxiously, eagerly waving to them all while the second twin walked inside, cringing as she looked around the room, arms crossed. Her gaze locked in on V, looking almost disgusted. She whispered something to her sister, V barely able to hear the words 'desperate' and 'bum', a small snicker coming from the twin, as she heard her whisper something about 'hand me downs' and 'hard times' in a light, scolding tone.
