"Rise and shine! We have a lot of work today!" J's voice roared throughout the bunks, waking everyone up. "Ugh! It's like... 7. Go back to sleep." V groaned, stuffing a pillow over her head and trying to return to sleep mode. "That doesn't matter. We still have a job to do! You have 5 minutes to get ready. Go." J's voice boomed throughout the room, forcing them all to wake, N being the only one to actually try and get ready while V sat on her bed, waiting for the last second before needing to get ready. Y/n yawned tiredly as he sat up, attempting to get up, but quickly found one small problem.
"J... My leg is still numb. I can't move it." He sleepily grumbled, squeezing his calf, trying to get any feeling. Walking over, J sat next to him, gently swatting away at his hand and placing her hand on his leg, squeezing specific muscle points, digital eyes glancing up at him. "Nothing?" He shook his head, J sighing softly. "Hmm. This isn't good... V, N, start the activities without me. I'm going to be a moment." V groaned at the demand while N grabbed the clipboard, heading outside the cabin. "Give me a moment." Standing up, J went to grab the first aid kit, stopping at her desk, eyes stuck on the drawer. Walking over, she set down the aid kit and grabbed the necessary items.
While J was busy with that, Y/n was in his own thoughts, resting back against the bed, rubbing his eyes, irritated with the headache. Glancing over to his desk, he saw his glasses resting on the top, memories of last night flashing through his mind. Eye twitching as a minor burn began to grow. Sitting up again, he looked away, rubbing away the moisture that had built up, trying to suppress the growing feeling and calm his breathing. Thankfully, his mind was distracted as J sat beside him, feeling something soft smack against his chest. "Care to explain those?" J blankly spoke, rolling up his pants leg and removing the bandage. A good segment of his skin-tight suit having been cut off so J could properly work on it.
Looking down into his lap, he immediately woke up, eyes widening at the bag of bloodied teeth. "Those are... uh.... W-Why do you have these?" His voice cracked, stammering over his words, nervously scratching behind his head. "One of the children, Thad, I believe his name was... He told me he found this in a room after you left it, and even heard some gagging from said room. So do you care to explain?" J paused what she was doing, sternly glaring at the human, his mind running a thousand thoughts a second, struggling to start a sentence. J waiting patiently. "Um... These are... A prank." He trailed off, J raising a brow. "A prank?" J reiterated, seeming not to believe a word.
"Yeah... I-I Thad is just some dumb teen, and you're a counselor. T-They always play pranks on adults all the time in most media. There's skeletons a-all around here... It's not too hard to pluck out a couple of teeth and put them in some fake blood... Ya know?" J stayed silent, turning her focus back to his leg, making sure the stitches were much more secure than the shoddy work of last night. J looked over his veins, a purple glow pulsating from beneath the skin, the rest looking almost like a bruise as a result of the glowing nanites. "It's odd for a worker drone to have these types of nanites... They're not entirely common. However, it should dissipate over the upcoming days; any type of nanite eventually dies off. You just need to rest and try not to move around." Y/n rolled his eyes at her warning, unable to go anywhere if he wanted. Finishing up her work, J stood up, giving one last glance. "When we get back to the bunker, we are settling this. I still have my doubts." Snatching away the bag of teeth, J set them back in her desk, put back the first aid kit, and left to catch up with V and N. All alone again, Y/n had nothing else to do except lie down, only left to dwell on the memories of last night, constantly plaguing his mind.
