So Riots back, we should be getting chapters a bit more faster. We can't wait to continue on in this twisted little world, and are sorry it took so long. And be on the lookout for the one shots on Christmas, having another little gift for you all.
And I forgot to mention this, but some scenes have been updated/added. Some main onew is Emily's death and Y/n actually seeing if he can rebuild her. Some lil updates showing off V's blindness in needing to aim. And in chapter two an added scene with Lucy and Tessa, and one with Y/n, James, and Louisa.
Anyways, enjoy.
Okay we made a mistake, it didn't load the last bit, we fixed it. We apolaigze.

Three quick knocks rang from N's door, J calling out for him to open the door. He called something out from beyond the door, unable to be heard, only able to make out some light creaking followed by a loud crash, J not questioning it as she waited for him to eventually open the door, looking around to try and pass the time while N scrambled around inside, yelling about 'one more second!'. After about a minute or so, the door finally opened up, N leaning out of the doorway with a nervous goofy grin, hair in every which way, looking like he just got hit with lightning, hat nowhere to be seen. "Hi." J was silent, looking past him to see his desk broken in half, glancing up to the ceiling right after, a makeshift hanger sticking out, perfect for someone to wrap their tail around. "I'll never understand your sleeping habits..." J recalled how, on the first day, they finished the spire ceiling. N spent almost a whole week building those same little bars all along the ceiling to hang from. Holding out a paper bag, N takes it with a chipper "thanks for the dinner." Even though J's no longer their boss, she can't help but make sure her former co-workers don't overheat, even if they're annoying.
N didn't waste a second before ripping open the bag, eating the "food" with a blissful smile. "By any chance, have you seen V around? No one in their house has responded, so I've just been leaving her share in the living room, but for the third day now it's been left untouched." N paused for a second, slowly coming to the realization that he hadn't seen V in quite a bit. But that wasn't the only drone missing from his recent days. "Speaking of, I don't think I've seen Uzi for a bit... Or Y/n either." N trailed off, trying to fill nonexistent gaps in his memory. "Weird... Mr. Doorman mentioned he hasn't seen Uzi come out of her room for a while. Could be something... When was the last time you saw Y/n?" J inquired, crossing her arms, attempting to make sense of the absences. "Uh... Well, he was in his home with Tessa. I think he was sick. He looked..." N paused, face scrunching lightly at the memory. "Worn down..." He eventually mumbled, shaking his head before facing back to J. "Hmm, I see. I'll go ask if she's seen him." "Alright!" N gave a wave as J left from his sight, N standing awkwardly in the doorway, chewing on the soft plastic of the inside of his cheek, tossing the idea around in his head on if he should too go check on Uzi, eventually giving in and setting down his food, jogging out of the home to the Doorman residence, hoping to find answers there.
V hadn't moved an inch, easily able to be mistaken for a statue as she was seated in the nurse's office, eyes glued to the unconscious body in front of her, unaware of the last time she saw movement, the surroundings a mixed blur of pastel colors, eyes half lidded as she focused to stay awake. Ignoring the systems slowly shutting down one by one as her body grew hotter and hotter, keeping all her focus on having her eyes open and staying awake.
Time had become irrelevant to her; the sounds were in second place in the race, everything muddied and nearly nonexistent. Facing straight ahead with an empty look in her digital eyes, unable to move even if she wanted to. Seemingly forever stuck to watch as her lover faded away with each passing moment, weak to it all.
