"I'm grateful you guys brought the girls over," Joe sighs. "It's nice to have a couple other people here with Jess gone for her vacation."

"Yeah, man, of course," Kev grins.

"Plus, Pri and Dani needed time to finish up some... stuff." Nick continues.

Joe gives them a knowing nod, chuckling as the three of them sit against the wall of the playroom, looking over at their daughters playing together. Alena, of course, is the one to lead the gang, being the oldest.

The three chuckle at their girls, Joe offering to go get them beers and his brothers agreeing, thanking him as he gets up to walk to the kitchen, hearing a small knock at the emergency door, making him furrow his brows. He makes his way over to the door, opening it to reveal Londyn.

"Hey," he whispers.

"Do you have a minute?" she asks.

"Is everything okay?" he asks, panic flickering in his eyes.

"Not exactly," she sighs, licking her lips.

He backs up, letting her come in, searching her face for the answer to his question. "Addison."

"I considered not telling you cause I don't have all the information, but I promised you that I'd keep you updated on her."

"What happened?" he asks. "Is she okay?"

"She was in a car accident," she stuggles to get the words out.

His eyes widen, searching her face. "What? Is she okay? What happened? Wh- Wha-"

"She was crossing an intersection when a car t-boned her. The car flipped four times, she was unconscious for two days and woke up in the hospital last night."

His breath leaves his lungs, gasping for air, desperate for them to fill again. "Wha-"

"Joe..." she says, trying to help him.

"How- How bad is... How bad is it? Is she okay? How did this happen? Where was she going? What- What- What-" He sucks in for air, panicking.

"Whoa, whoa," Nick says, him and Kevin exiting the playroom at the commotion.

"Joe," Kevin says, rushing over and placing a hand on his back. "Joe, breathe."

"Joe," Londyn says, licking her lips. "Relax. You've gotta breathe. Surprisingly she survived with only cuts and bruises, but they can't decide between a severe concussion and a traumatic brain injury."

"Who the hell are you?" Nick asks, walking over closer.

"I'm Londyn, a friend of Addison's," she replies quickly, keeping her focus on Joe.

They both blink, shocked.

"Joe," she says, directing her attention back to him. "I need you to focus. I need you to listen to me."

He stares into her eyes, seeing her calm demeanor. "Is she okay?"

"I don't know."

"What- what- what do you- what do you mean you don't know?" he stutters.

"The last I spoke to her; she was ready to rest. I went to shower, when I got out there was a voicemail from her. It sounded like she was trying to tell me something, but a nurse came in to give her meds and the next thing I knew machines started going off and I heard voices talking about giving her dilaudid and the other person freaked out."

"Whoa, what happened?" Kevin asks, looking between them frantically. "Addison?"

"The line cut off after that, I don't know what happened. I called Stella and told her to get to the hospital, but I haven't heard from her since."
