Hab some?"

"No, mine!"

"Willa, what are you doing?" Jessica asks, turning around in the passenger seat.

"Willa, I thought I told you to wait until we got back to Uncle Kevin's," Joe tells her.

"I'm hungry," she whines.

"And I understand that," he says. "But I asked you to wait and you're not listening to me."

"I said, I'm hungry!" she exclaims angrily.

"Excuse me?" he asks, furrow his brows, despite her not being able to see him.

"Mm," she hums angrily.

"You wanna try that again, ma'am?" he asks sternly.

"No," she says.

"Okay then you don't get to hold the bag for the rest of the ride," he says, Jessica reaching back and grabbing it.

"No!" she screams, starting to kick and scream.

"Willa Mae, I am not in the mood right now, knock it off," Joe tells her.

She continues to scream and kick, making Jessica sigh.

Ever since Joe's been less present, her tantrums have gotten worse, wanting more attention from him. Though the only thing on his mind is the fact that her mommy is still missing. It's been a week, no one knows what's going on or who to turn to for help. There are no leads, nothing to go off of. She's just... gone.

"Willa Mae," Joe tries again.

"NO!" she screams, Delphine giggling, starting to scream playfully along with her.

"Delphine, no," Jessica scolds her sternly.

Delphine giggles, continuing to scream.

"STOP!" Willa screams at her sister.

Delphine laughs, doing it again.

"STOP!" Willa screams again.

Joe loses it, raising his voice at the girls for one of the only times ever. "ENOUGH!"

Both of them stop immediately, not used to Joe talking to them like that.

Jessica turns to him, her expression sympathetic as his face immediately falls, feeling guilty.

Joe sighs. "I'm sorry I raised my voice," he starts. "But you girls do not have your listening ears on, and daddy is getting very frustrated right now. I am trying to drive and you're not listening."

"I want mommy," Willa whines.

"Me too," Joe responds quickly, still frustrated.

"Mama," Delphine says.

Arriving back at Kevin's, Joe gets out of the car, asking Jessica to take the food and Delphine inside while he grabs Willa, placing him in his lap in the front seat. Willa refuses to look at him, her arms crossed over her chest as she looks down.

"Willa," he starts gently.

"No," she says. "I want mommy."

"Well," he sighs. "Mommy's not here right now, so you've got me, kid."

She huffs, still refusing to look at him.

"Princess," he sighs after a minute. "Please look at me."

"No," she says again.

He sighs. "Okay, well, then I'll just talk, and you can listen. I am very sorry that I raised my voice earlier when you and sissy were screaming. I know that you were upset because you were hungry and trying to eat. But I asked you to wait until we got home to eat so that everyone could eat together, and you did not listen to me. So, I got frustrated, just like you feel frustrated right now. Daddy has a lot going on in his brain right now and he should not have taken it out on you. It was wrong and I'm sorry."
