Arriving in Australia, we all make our way toward baggage claim, Jaclyn making her way to the restroom while the rest of us wait.

"Hey," Liam says softly, nudging me.

"Hey," I grin.

"Before my mom gets back, thank you."

I furrow my brows, looking up at him. "For what?"

"Letting us come, giving my mom a chance. I don't think you realize how much it means to her. She's so worried she's gonna mess it up."

I nod. "She's been good thus far. The only thing she needs to worry about now is making sure that Joe doesn't decide against any of it."

He nods. "Joe doesn't like her."

I shake my head. "Joe doesn't like that I was forced into a life I wasn't even born into. She was a part of that, a very large portion."

He nods. "I get that. He loves you, he's protective over you."

I grin, laughing lightly as he continues.

"Not that you specifically need protection because I think it's clear to all of us that you don't."

I shrug. "It's still nice to have someone that wants to achieve that for you. It took me a while to learn that."

My hands fiddle the strap of my bag in my hands, Liam's eyes darting down toward them.

"You nervous?"

I sigh, gulping. "Yeah," I admit, laughing lightly. "Really nervous actually."

"They're your family, Ads," he says. "They're going to be excited to see you."

"I know, I know. I just," I pause, gulping. "I'm not so much worried about them being happy to see me. I'm more worried about me. It's been six months. I feel like I'm not going to even know my babies anymore. Like, what if I don't know how to take care of them anymore?"

"Truth?" Liam says.

I nod. "Always."

He nods, grinning at the reference of our childhood together. "You might not. I mean, for kids six months is a lifetime. They're probably a lot different now."

I nod. "I know, that's what scares me. Like, how do I interact with them anymore? Are they still going to listen to me? Are they going to care what I say?"

"They're toddlers, they never care about what you say," Londyn's voice appears, walking up.

I sigh, looking at her.

"I knew you were more nervous than you put on," she says, giving me a look.

"She's going crazy in that mind of hers, I think," Liam tells her.

Londyn nods. "For sure."

He chuckles, making her grin.

I lick my lips. "I'm serious..."

"We know," Londyn nods. "Addie, those girls... Willa..."

I look up, gulping as I know she knows I'm most worried about her.

She gives me a weak grin, her eyes watering a little. "Willa is going to be the happiest little girl in the world when she sees you."

Liam gulps, trying to remember. "Willa's the oldest."

I nod, a small grin on my face as I blink back tears. "She's three."

He nods. "Got it."

"Okay, we've got all our stuff," Hope says, everyone else walking up as Jaclyn returns too.
