I can't imagine how Joe survived being without me for six months. It's only been a week and I'm pretty sure I'm losing my mind more than I already feared I had. It's not even necessarily the girls. Willa has been asking about him, clearly anxious with not being with him, but it's helped the few times she's been able to talk with him on the phone. This being said, both of the girls have been sleeping in bed with me. Though I'm sure that's more for my benefit than theirs. I just hope it doesn't mess up the routine. Willa had finally just gotten the hang of sleeping in her own bed without me again when I pulled her back into mine. It had taken us a month to get her to sleep in her own bed all night long. Now I'm hoping she's able to get back to it once Joe gets home. We've still yet to get a night alone together. Really any time at all. We've both been exhausted.

The last four shows of this leg of the tour were in Mexico and although I love visiting, life has been a whirlwind already and I needed to get back to our LA home for a few days, spend time with the girls and continue to work on getting myself back. It's a process and I'm still working on it... but I'm getting there... slowly.

Staring at the girls sleeping next to me in the bed, I hold my phone close, knowing Joe's after show call should be coming through any minute. It's something he's done every night we've been away from each other this week. Thank goodness the time difference it's too much. Speaking of the call...

"Hello?"

"Hi beautiful," he greets me, the background loud and his breathing still uneven.

"Did you just walk off stage?"

"Yeah," he breathes. "I wanted to catch you before you fell asleep."

"I would've waited up for you," I tell him, rolling onto my back and looking at the ceiling.

"And fallen asleep while doing so," he chuckles.

I roll my eyes, a grin playing on my lips. "Whatever."

He laughs, finding humor in his being right. "So, I want you to do me a favor."

"Okay," I say slowly, my brows furrowing.

"I want you to pack a bag for you, one for Del and one for Willa. Have Jessica and Londyn pack bags too and go to the airport tomorrow evening. The flight leaves at six."

"At six?" I ask, my brows raising.

"Mmhmm," he says. "That way you only have to keep the girls entertained for an hour or two before they fall asleep."

"And where would we be going?" I ask.

"A couple different places," he chuckles. "But to begin, you'll be landing in Barcelona."

"For?"

"Well, it's a stop on the way to Monaco, where I will be attending an event with Nick while you and the girls hang out. Then, I was thinking we go to Montenegro."

"Where is that?"

"Southeast Europe."

"I don't know what that means."

He chuckles. "I've never been but apparently it's beautiful and there's a hotel opening there. Maybe we'll go somewhere else after that for a week or so, but I wanted to take a little vacation. Let us escape, explore somewhere new and enjoy the fact that we're together again."

"What about your music?" I ask. "Didn't you say you were going to work on that after these shows?"

"I did and I will. I think they were planning on meeting me in Montenegro or possibly Greece?"

"Greece?" I ask. "You didn't say anything about Greece."

"Now I did," he chuckles.

I roll my eyes. "So Greece is after Montenegro."
