What in the hell? Ah, what the fuck?

"Addison? Addie, can you hear me?"

I blink a few times, stopping in my tracks with a hand on my head. The white walls, smell of cleaning products, paper-thin gown, and visitor chairs. The hospital. My eyes land on Victoria before traveling to my other side to land on Hope.

"What the fuck happened?" I ask, closing my eyes tightly before opening them again. "And why the fuck does my head hurt so bad?"

"Careful," Victoria warns.

"You don't remember?" Hope asks.

"Remember what?"

"You got into a car accident," she replies. "You were crossing an intersection, and someone ran into the side of your car. The car flipped four times, you're lucky to be alive right now."

I let out a small gasp of air. "I flipped?"

She nods. "Yeah. They said they don't think the other driver was paying attention."

"We think it was on purpose, though," Victoria whispers.

I lick my lips before my face scrunches up at the dryness. "Where's Stella?"

"Looking into it," Hope answers.

"With Jaclyn," Victoria adds.

I open and close my mouth a few times. "Water?"

"Here," Victoria says, handing me a cup.

After chugging it down, I place the cup down again, sighing. "Thanks. So, what are my injuries then?"

"Cuts and bruises mostly," Hope says. "They said you were really lucky."

"But" Tori starts. "They said they'll have to do more tests when you wake up to see if there's any injuries to the brain that wouldn't show on the scans that they took."

I nod, gulping. "Okay."

"I mean, I think they're leaning towards some sort of brain injury considering you've been out for two days." Hope says.

"What?!" I ask, my eyes widening. "Two days? I've been unconscious for two days?!"

They both nod.

"Speaking of, I should get the nurse," Tori says, standing up.

"My phone, where's my phone?" I ask, looking around frantically.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Hope says, grabbing my shoulders to keep me put. "Addie, calm down."

"No, I need to make a call. I need my phone."

"Addie," she says softly.

"Hope, I need my phone."

"I will get it to you," she whispers. "See the nurse first."

"No," I shake my head.

"Mrs. Jonas," the nurse says, entering the room. "How are we feeling?"

"Um," I gulp, frantically looking from Hope to the nurse, forcing my eyes to calm. "My head hurts."

She nods. "Okay, well, I'm just gonna check you out really quick and then the doctor will come in and do the same. We're probably going to have to do some more tests now that you're awake. Just a fair warning."

"Okay," I answer softly.

She checks my vitals, everything seeming fine at the moment before leaving the room.

I look to Hope, wanting to ask for my phone again but being interrupted by the doctor walking.

"Good to see you awake, Mrs. Jonas."
