The truth

"What do you mean that someone is feeding my son some medicine? For what?" My father confusedly asked Aiden, who seem to be having a staring contest with Vera. "I don't get it, did something happened to my son that I didn't know of?" He continued.

"Why don't you ask your wife, Mr. Quinn?" Aster was the one who answered, He even picked up a chair and seated in front of us. "Does she not tell everything to you?"

I stared at my mom who's looking pale as well, she looked very uncomfortable from where she is seated right now.

"What is the meaning of this mother?" I asked my mom, after I recovered from shock.

"Should I be the one to tell Elieazer everything?" Aster asked my mother again "Seems like cat got your tongue?" He said, he sounded like he's teasing everyone.

"Y-you Aster!" Paolo said, but Aster just stared at him blankly.

"Try to interfere Paolo, or I'll spill the tea about you and Guineth" Aster said "Oops! I just spilled the context" He laughed a little.

"Why are you doing this Aster? Aiden? hmm?" Mrs. Arnoult asked, trying to calm herself down. She looked so nervous as well. "What are you scheming?"

"Mother it's just that, you should stop this now" Aiden said. "You're too blinded by greed"

"So going back" Aster even clapped "So ayon nga Elieazer, The reason why you're having head aches is because you have a dissociative amnesia, and Vera on the other hand secretly changed your vitamins to a medicine that will prevent you from regaining your memories. So ang ending, hindi mo lang sinaktan ang kapatid ko, kinalimutan mo pa" His smirk faded and was changed to a serious tone that made me shiver.

"Do you know why you have a dissociative amnesia?" He asked me again. I wasn't able to answer immediately because I am still processing everything I heard. "It's because someone in this room plotted your accident few years ago"

Aster said while he was looking at his fingers and blowing the dirt in it.

"Hindi ko sinasabing ikaw ito Paolo, pero parang ganon na nga" He continued.

"What the fuck!" Paolo angrily responded "What proof do you have to say that to me?! Huh?!"

"Proof? hmm? let's ask Mrs. Quinn" Aster stood up from his seat and faced my mother.
"Where were you again, when Elieazer got into an accident?"

"W-what? N-nasa bahay of course! I was with m-my husband" my mom stuttered.

"Really? Should I show your husband the proof on where were you at that time?"

"What is the meaning of this Lovely Rose?" My dad asked my mother. "What is Aster talking about? Elieazer has dissociative amnesia?"

"I'm giving you time to tell the truth Mrs. Quinn, or I'll be the one to spill everything, you know ubos na ang pasensya ko sainyong lahat" Aster coldly said as he returned from his seat.

My mother was silent. She looked like she was cornered, she looked pale, and nervous, and shocked just as I am right now.

"H-hon, Don't believe him" my mother histerically pleaded. "T-they're framing me up"

"Really?" Aster said "Okay so seems like Mrs. Quinn doesn't have plans to tell the truth, I'll spill the tea then" 

"W-wait! Oo na sasabihin ko na ang totoo!" my mother broke down, while I am still trying to process everything.

"I'm leaving" Vera said.

"Who said you can leave this place? Matapos mong pahirapan si Guinevere tatakas ka pa talaga?" Aiden angrily said, He doesn't looked like the Aiden I know right now.
