Elieazer's POV
The event

Today is the day, the 10th anniversary of the Quinn's group. I am here at my hotel room, thinking of a lot of things. Guin and I had separate rooms, hindi ko kayang tumabi sa taong pumatay sa mahal ko, pakiramdam ko sasakit lalo ang ulo ko.

"Are you alright Eli?" My father asked, seems like he noticed how anxious I am right now. "What's bothering you?"

"Nothing"

"Eli wag mo muna isipin kung ano man nalaman mo, today is an important day" My mother reminded.

I sighed heavily, I shouldn't be thinking about Guinevere for now. This is an important event that the company has prepared for.

"You should go to you wife Eli, I saw her awhile back she might be stunning today but she seemed tired" My father said.

Why is she tired? Did something happened?

I shouldn't be worrying about her, but I did follow what my dad said to me. My dad only knows the reason why I got married, but he still doesn't know the whole truth behind Guineth's death.

I knocked at Guinevere's room and after a few seconds the door opened.

"Let's go" I coldly said to her.

Damn! she's really looked stunning in her dress.

"Alright" she said.

She's supposed to hook her hand on my arm but I immediately shoved it away. Para akong napaso sa hawak niya, I don't care if she's hurt with what I did. That's nothing compared to what she did to me.

We both arrived at the main hall, of course people came to us the moment they saw us entering the hall, I just introduced Guinevere to them as my wife, afterwards I entertained some of my business partners.

The program started and everyone is complementing me on how organized the event was, If I didn't know what Guinevere did I might have held her hand and proudly tell these investors that it was her who organized the whole event.

"Who is that lovely lady at the back? She looked so stunning!" Mr. Anderson's son said, making me look at the person he was pertaining to.

It was Guinevere.

"That is Eli's wife, Jason" Mr. Anderson said.

Guinevere was busy entertaining the guests, she looked so tired but she still continued welcoming and guiding them towards their seats.

The program started and my parents gave their speeches, they thank everyone who was at the event place today, and our partners as well. They ended their speech with a champagne and applause.

"Hey Elieazer, Mr. Cavanaugh is here" bulong saakin ni Gabriel. Nanlaki ang mata ko dahil sa narinig.

Who invited him here? I should give that person a raise!

Mr. Cavanaugh seated beside me and greeted everyone. He even commended me for the success of Quinn's group.

"Thank you for gracing us with your presence Mr. Cavanaugh, I know you have a busy schedule and seeing you here is a privilege for the Quinn's group" I said.

"Ha ha! you should thank the pretty lady who persuaded me to come here, If she wasn't that persistent, I would be in Switzerland right now enjoying paragliding" He mentioned.

Napakunot ang noo ko dahil sa sinabi nito.

Pretty lady? Is it Vera? I'm sure it was her, Guinevere has no idea about Mr. Cavanaugh.
