It's looooong overdue! Sorry! But it's here, chapter 5 :) It's a bit of a filler and hasn't been edited but oh well, hope you love it!

I didn't once think I was crazy whilst driving to school. Brody and I chatted animatedly about rainbows and gel pens. Until he realised how girly he sounded. I had completely forgotten that he was only allowing me to see him at this stage.
When I pulled up to school, I had a mini heart attack when the thought came back into my mind that no one else could see him. I almost wished they could so one, they wouldn't think I was a crazy person, and two, those originals from last year's accident would get to see him again. Sure he was one of the popular jocks, but he was one of the guys who was loved all round, as thick as he was.
I had arrived only five minutes prior to the bell this morning thanks to my laziness. Upon seeing Ames and Tom, I grinned just before Amity squealed. Brody cracked himself up laughing beside me. I shot him a glare that hopefully said 'Don't screw this up.' He just threw me an amused smile and traipsed alongside me over to my friends. Ames was bouncing up and down, hyper on her early morning caffeine as per usual. Tom gave me a nod as I walked over and gave him a small hug. Amity, acting offended, refused to look at me until I gave her a big hug as well. As she was squeezing the life out of my lungs, she whispered in my ear, "I saw Cole this morning babes. I want to know everything that's happening between you two!"
She released me, allowing me to suck sweet, sweet oxygen back into my lungs. I doubled over and put my hands on my knees as Tom let out a soft laugh. Still hunched over, I pointed at Tom. "You, are a horrible, person, mister." Breathing heavily between most of my words, my inability to breathe properly was made worse when Brody happened to slap me hard on the back, throwing me forward. Ames and Tom stared oddly at me so I played it off as clumsiness before turning to Brody as they walked toward the school building.
"You can't do that!"
"Oh really? I think I just did." He grinned like a Cheshire Cat.
"People are already gonna think I'm crazy enough as it is!" I was whisper shouting, trying not to draw any attention whatsoever to myself.
"Babes," he drew out, imitating Amity, "They're already gonna think you're a loony. I mean, you have a sexy dead person walking around with you 24/7. You are going to slip up somewhere." He shrugged as if there were no consequences.
I huffed and walked away from him in the same direction my friends went. Unlucky for me, the bell rung at that moment, meaning I had English first. Hooray. As I entered the classroom, Brody was no where to be seen. I glanced quickly around and not seeing him anywhere, felt a huge weight lift off my chest. My brain was doing a happy dance and I flicked my blonde hair behind my shoulder.
I took my usual seat by the far window, nodding at the guy who always sat next to me, yay assigned seating. Not.
"Look who's a mister grumpy gills today." The voice was deep and familiar and I stifled a groan before dropping my forehead to rest on the table. I turned my head sideways, still leaning on the table and sure enough, there was Brody, being the annoying insect he was.
"Hey! I am no insect!"
I giggled, realising I had spoken aloud. "Yeah, and I'm the president of the world."
Picking up on my sarcasm, he rolled his eyes. "I thought you'd be happy I was here. In all my jock glory." He gestured up and down his body, which I not so subtly checked out. He was incredibly good looking.
