Another chapter?!?! I'm on a roll haha. So this is a lot longer and was a lot more fun to write :)
We get to see more of Adam, and there's a little Brody and Terrie moment :P I love Brody
not edited yet again, I honestly just don't have the time to bother doing that if I'm going to be writing new chapters haha
PS I was thinking, just an idea, when I finish this story (don't worry still a long way to go yet!) but when I finish it, would anyone want to read a prequel based on Delilah's and Brody's stories? I'd like to get to explore Delilah's character more and I don't think I'd be able to let Brody go at the end of this story haha
but anyway, enjoy!

"Today's the day!"
Shut up Adam.
"The sun is shining, the tank is clean...oh fuck. THE TANK IS FUCKING CLEAN TERRIE! HELP ME!"
Who in fudge's name gave him a copy of Finding Nemo.
That was the one movie you weren't allowed to let Adam have. He was oddly obsessed and it got weird. We hid the family's copy of that movie in a locked cabinet that he didn't know where the key was. So how he found it I don't know. Unless he bought his own copy, which I highly doubt because he was a cheapskate. Rolling onto my left side, my face still mostly smushed in the pillow, I opened my right eye and sure enough, Adam was sitting on my wheely chair grinning at me. There was a creepy sparkle in his eyes and I frowned before pushing my whole face back into the pillow. I'd had a good night sure, but I was now nursing a bit of a hangover. And Adam knew it.
Instead of leaving like I'd hoped, he chose to come and poke me repeatedly in the cheek until I got up. What an ass. I was so going to sit on his first born child. Grunting, I pushed myself up off the mattress and whacked Adds in the stomach. He chuckled before ruffling my already birds nest like hair.
"Get up. We have to clean. Mum and Dad get back tomorrow morning." Oh yeah! Too bad I hated cleaning with a passion. I actively went out of my way to avoid it. For example leaving the house. But I knew none of my usual tactics would work today, it was a party I organised and technically hosted, therefore my mess to clean up. Unfortunately for me. Leaving my pj's on, I clunked down the stairs, tripping on the last few to stumble out to the kitchen. There were too many people in my kitchen at this time of the morning. I checked the microwave. This time of the afternoon.
Brody, Del, Ames, Jude and Adam all stood in my kitchen holding cups of coffee or water. Ames and Del laughed at my appearance. I couldn't care less since I was in my house. So I flipped them the bird. Why Jude was still here was confusing to me. I assumed he'd disappear early in the morning.
"We're all here to help you clean the place up. Plus we were too drunk to leave.." Brody mentioned. Help me clean? They could stay all they wanted! Adam gestured for me to follow him out into the lounge room which I did.
"Terrie. You can lie all you want and say that guy standing in our kitchen isn't Jude, but you and I both know that's him. He came round here often enough. I'd know that guy anywhere." Ohhhh, I was in the deepest of shitholes.
"Um," I intelligently began. "It's a really long story you won't believe?" I knew he'd want to hear it anyway.
"Yeah, nice try, you're telling me once these people leave and the house is clean." He glared at me pointedly and headed back into the kitchen, pulling me along by the hand. Why did everyone just think I was uncooperative whilst hungover?
