Wooooo! Another chapter! I'm a bit iffy about this chapter, I don't really like it too much, but let me know what you guys think? :)
Also sorry it takes me so long to write stuff, including for my other stories Playing By The Rules and Head Girl (Which you should totally check out ;) ), my days are full of doing exciting things now I have freedom from high school! It's the best :D
Anyway, here's the chapter, let me know what y'all think, that'd be awesome :)
PS not edited again

When I had arrived at my house, Amity had literally danced with happiness, leaving poor Tom to bring the bags of food in. After putting the soft drink in the fridge and placing the chips and other various foods on the bench top, we migrated upstairs to my bedroom where Tom and Ames dumped their bags of clothes and stuff.
Tom had a quick glance around before sitting on my bed. Ames plonked herself down on the floor, yanking me down by the hand. "So Terrie, tell us all about your cute coffee date with Cole!" Her eyes were glistening with anticipation and her voice trembled with excitement. I really needed to get her a guy of her own soon. I diverted my eyes to Tom and noticed his face had visibly hardened and closed off, his eyes cold at the mention of Cole. A tad surprised, I faced Ames again and spoke, "There's nothing to tell. We got coffee, chatted a bit, then I left to come here." It wasn't a complete lie, I just decided not to include some things.
Amity dropped my hand and her shoulders sagged a bit. "Oh." She was disappointed in the lack of gossip. Which meant we really needed to find a guy for her. I wasn't going to push her and Tom together because he would admit his feelings when he was ready. I just needed a guy to keep her a bit more occupied, especially with all the ghost dealings going on lately. Speaking of, I should discuss Josie with Tom. And Brody. Brody's whereabouts were unknown at the moment however. I'd get around to it.After Ames forgot all about Cole, we spent the night watching crappy rom coms and eating junk food on the couch downstairs. Amity fell asleep around midnight so Tom carried her upstairs and put her in the guest room. As he did this, I cleared away the empty chip packets and cups, taking them to the kitchen to dispose of them. Quickly rinsing the cups, I placed them in the sink when Tom startled me.
"She's fast asleep all tucked in bed." I spun to face him and found him leaning against the doorframe with his arms crossed against his chest and one leg propped up on its toes in front of the other leg.
"Thanks for that Tom," I smiled. I tried to avoid noticing how nice his tanned arms looked. Moving to walk past him back into the lounge room, he quickly moved to stand right in front of me. I laughed softly with nerves which I'd never had around him before. "What are you doing?"
His gorgeous blue eyes roamed my face for a moment, something akin to indecision flashing across his features. His gaze settled on my lips as he whispered huskily, "Nothing."
I gulped and pushed him a bit and thankfully, he moved aside, following me into the other room. I sat on one end of the couch, him on the other. The tension in the air was thick and completely new to me. Staring straight ahead, I tried clearing it, "I met another ghost today." Turning my body to face him, I gauged his reaction. He paled slightly before coughing into his fist and replying.
"Oh yeah?"
"Mhmm. It was Josie. As in head cheerleader, preppy Josie." I watched as his eyebrows rose partially in surprise. They then furrowed as he lost himself in thought for a couple minutes.
