I'd followed Adam into his room since he seemed to want a bit of privacy.

"First things first Ter, why is the redhead downstairs eating all of our ice cream?"

I stifled a giggle, covering my mouth with my hand. Adds was only in his boxers so I could imagine the embarrassment and harassment Del gave him.

"She's having a rough day. So she's staying the night," I shrugged like it made sense. Which it so did.

He nodded, contemplating. "Did you talk to Ames?" This question was less confident, more tentative and rightly so. He did get her pregnant with child.

"Yup. You fucked up bro. Literally fucked. On the couch downstairs," I couldn't help but add jokingly.

Adds gave me a flat look which I returned with a sheepish grin.

"Yeah, thanks for clarifying. I just, I don't know what to do. I'm so not ready to be a father!"

I rolled my eyes. "Like Ames is ready to be a mother! She struggles just to act normal half the time, let alone have to be responsible for something like this. She's keeping it and will be an amazing mum. I just hope you can make the right choice here."

His face dropped and he looked helplessly at me. Wow, he was really struggling. Sighing, I walked over and sat on his bed, praying it wasn't contaminated with anything sexual, and gestured for him to sit beside me. Wrapping an arm around his waist, I leant my head on his shoulder, his own head resting on top of mine as he semi-hugged me back. I could feel him breathing deeply, silent in thought.

"Ter, I have to tell Indie. I don't want her to hurt you as payback, but I can't not tell her."

Unfortunately, I agreed with him. I just hoped it wouldn't come back to bite us in the butt later.

Pulling away, I nodded. "Ames is hurting now too, you know. Don't leave her out in the world on her own, okay?"

My big bro chuckled and ruffled my hair. "Sure thing sis. Wanna clean my room for me?"

My eyes widened and I quickly shook my head, standing and backing away from the guy. Practically running out of his room, I breathed a sigh of relief as I heard him howling with laughter. God only knows what was lying around hidden in the deep dark corners of his room.

Leaving him with his thoughts, I trudged back downstairs to eat more ice cream. Well, I would have eaten more if Del hadn't already finished it. She was lying in her pj shorts and top on the couch rubbing her belly and groaning. Damn girl ate too much sugary crap. Plonking down on the couch beside her legs, I patted her sympathetically.

"You brought this on yourself, you know."

"Ugh, I know. Next time, refuse to give me ice cream." That'd never happen. I would never withhold ice cream from any girl. It was the food of champions. And/or emotionally hurting girls. Sometimes, I'd say they were one in the same.

'Indie's coming.' The voice in my head was strangely similar to Lara's and I was shocked to find she was right. The doorbell rang and I begrudgingly got up to let the devil incarnate in.
