~Jade Aslenna Simms~

‍ I woke up the next morning and got dressed. Juliet had texted me the night before and told me to meet her in a café uptown for breakfast. My shoes sat by my door. I slid them on and walked outside. Walking to the café, my thoughts wandered to Andy and if he'd be here. I knew this wasn't good, I shouldn't be thinking about Andy all the time. He's Juliet's. She has his name tattooed on her shoulder. I can't think like this.

I arrived at the cafe and spotted Juliet nuzzles into Andy at the bar. I sighed heavily and walked over, sitting besides Andy, as it was the only seat available near the two. It'd be weird to sit away from them because after all, I was here to see the couple. A waitress approached me and smiled, "What can I get you?"

"A pumpkin spice latte" I said, playing with my fingers as Juliet giggled at Andy, "please"
‍ She nodded and fixed my coffee. Andy smiled, "Hey Jade"

I melted. My name rolled off his tongue perfectly. I swallowed the lump that had formed in my throat and smiled at the dark-haired boy besides me. The waitress sat my drink in front of me and I handed her five dollars, telling her to keep the change. Juliet took a sip from the mug sitting in front of her as the bell on the door rang, indicating someone had just walked into the café. My gaze traveled to the door and a guy walked in. He smiled and winked at me before walking to Andy.

‍ "Pumpkin spice latte," I replied. "Wanna sip?"
‍ I have no idea why I was so comfortable with Ashley. It was strange.
‍ "Sure," he said, picking up the cup.
‍ "Be careful," I warned, "it's hot."
‍ Ash smiled at me warmly and took a small drink from my coffee. He sat back down and I looked at him, waiting for a reaction.
‍ "That's really good," he told me. I smiled as the waitress came back over and asked Ashley what he wanted.

"He wants a pumpkin spice latte," I told her, handing her three dollars and twenty-one cents, the exact cost. She nodded and took the money. Ashley smiled and took another sip of my coffee.
‍ "Ashley," I laughed, "yours is coming. Stop drinking mine before I make you buy me another one."

‍ He gave me my drink and then, two more guys walked in. They walked towards us and Ashley was given his coffee.
‍ "CC, her. And Jake," Juliet smiled, hugging both of the guys. They walked over and stood beside Ashley and I.
‍ "Jade, this is CC and Jake," he told me, pointing to each man as he said their names.

‍ I waved as he introduced me. I picked up his coffee and drank some from it.
‍ "Jade! That's mine!" He exclaimed.
‍ I giggled and Andy's head whipped around to face me. I froze and look at him. He shook his head and looked at Juliet, trying to catch up with with she was saying, as he missed a part of it.

‍ Ash sighed and had another sip of his coffee before handing it back to me. We were in that little café from nine to one, joking and laughing, talking about random things. CC was stuck on the topic of unicorns, while Jake had three "personal pizzas" as the café called them. They were just small pizzas. Ashley and I shared five more lattes before we left.
‍ Jake and CC drove me home, after I got everyone's number, including Andy's and some guy name Jinxx's.‍

Ashley texted me after I got home.
Hey princess, meet me for coffee tomorrow in the same café? Stocking up on pumpkin spice lattes before we leave Thursday! Lol.
‍ They were leaving? What? Why? I picked up my iPhone and clicked Ashley's name before holding it to my ear.
‍ He picked up after three rings, "Hey!"‍ "Hey Ash, what do you mean 'before we leave'?" I asked, biting my fingernails.
‍ "Jade, were on tour," Ashley replied.
‍ I sighed, "Oh."
‍ "Yeah, sorry princess," Ashley said, using the nickname that had been established in Mona's Café,
‍ I pursed my lips, "It's okay."
‍ "So about coffee?"‍ "Oh! Yeah, of course. What time?" I asked.
‍ "Nine-thirty," Ash responded.
‍ "Alright"
‍ "Okay, see you tomorrow, Jade"
‍ "Bye Ashley."
‍ He hung up and I sighed. No more Ashley. But more importantly, no more Andy. I don't know what it was about Andy, but I needed him.‍

‍ I dropped Juliet off at our house and made up some lie about how Jinxx needed me for some album stuff. I pursed my lips, feeling kind of guilty about lying to Juliet. I love her, I really do, but I need some time to think. Time to think about Juliet Simms.
‍ I drove away and kept driving, and driving, and driving until I had no idea where I was. It didn't matter, though. I could always use GPS to get back, if I could figure it how to use the damn thing. I pulled into a convenience store parking lot. I walked inside, got a Coke and some Jolly Ranchers, and some Sour Patch Kids for Juliet. She likes them. I paid for the stuff and went outside. With a red cherry Jolly Rancher in my mouth, I drove to a Wal-Mart parking lot and sat there.‍
Jade had really confused me. She scared me in a way. It bothers me to be around her because she's something I want, but she's also impossible to have. This was the first time I was ever questioning Juliet and I's relationship. Was I really meant to be with her? Or was I suppose to be with little sister? What if I am meant to be with Jade? How am I going to tell Juliet? 'Oh hey, and Juliet, I'm in love with your little sister so, we're over'? That's not something I could do. I love Juliet with all my being and I can't stand the fact that I may be meant to be with someone else. Juliet is my dragonfly and I could never hurt her like that.
‍ I had to get over myself. There was no way I could be in love with someone else. No way. No way at all. Juliet was the one I was suppose to be with. No question about it. Jade was out of the question, as any other girl on the universe. Juliet was mine, and I was hers, right?
