~Ashley Purdy~

When Jade walked into Danny Worsnop's Halloween party with Andy's eyes glued to her, I was surprised Andy had let her out of the house looking like that. I choked on my beer when I saw my girlfriend beside her. No way in hell was she walking around like that. I raised my eyebrows and watched a couple younger guys wolf-whistle at my best friend and girlfriend. Olivia laughed at Andy as he glared at the boys and flipped the duo off, putting his arm around his girlfriend's waist. The two made their way to the bar and Andy walked to me after whispering something in Jade's ear.
He sighed, "This is what we get, I guess."
"I'm never telling Olivia that it doesn't matter what she wears as long as it's cute ever again," I laughed a little.
Andy took a red cup from a guy walking by and continued to carry on our conversation like he hadn't stolen someone's beer. "Ashley, are you blind? Cute is an understatement. That is fucking sexy. Do you see my girl?"
I laughed, "Do you see my girl?"
Andy smiled and took a sip of stolen beer.

-One Hour Later-

Jade laid out across the sofa in Danny's house drunk. Her Mario hat, mustache necklace, and shoes were missing. Boys were crowded around her. Ronnie Radke and her were flirting and laughing. Andy stood in the corner talking to Juliet. She had come. Danny invited most artists that played Warped every year, and Juliet was one of them. He was laughing and I sighed. I knew this night wouldn't end well.

I wasn't entirely drunk and neither was my fiancée's sister, and I was entirely aware of Ronnie Radke and Jade flirting in the living room. I kept an eye on the two, but didn't interfere.
"I can't believe she's acting like that," Juliet said, taking a sip of her fruity smelling drink.
I shrugged, "She's a flirty drunk. What am I supposed to do?"
"You'd be pissed at me if we were still together," Juliet sighed.
I raised my eyebrows at my ex-girlfriend, "You don't think I'm pissed? I'm just not going to yell at my intoxicated fiancée and piss her off. You know, I don't see why it's any of your business anyways."
She smirked a little. I knew Juliet had something that was going to piss me off. "Well," she smiled devilishly, "we're legally married, so I'm just trying to do what's best for the marriage. I wouldn't want a divorce or anything. I think keeping tabs on each other is perfectly healthy." Each word that came out of her mouth was drenched in a burning poison and I hated it. I hated her.
I tried to walk away but, she grabbed my arm, "Where are you going? I should probably know where you are just in case something happens, you know, being your wife and all."
I pulled away from Jade's sister and walked to the living room. I picked Jade up carefully, pouring my beer on the perfectly sober lead singer of Falling In Reverse and politely telling him to fuck off my girl and have some respect. She's drunk as hell. You don't take advantage of drunk girls. It's wrong on every level. Jade clung to me with her legs around my torso and her arms hugging my neck. She was giggling and pressing little kisses to my neck. I looked around and saw Juliet leaning against the doorway smirking. She knew she'd pissed me off. I turned all the way around and saw Ronnie standing up with his jaw and knuckles clenched.
I sighed inwardly, "Look Ronnie, I really don't want to hit anyone tonight. I just want to get my girlfriend home."
"What the hell did you expect, Andy? Did you really think I would just be fine with you pouring beer all over me?" he grumbled.
I let Jade down and she cuddled into my side, "My head hurts."
"I know, babe. I'm trying to get home." I turned back to Ronnie, noticing Ashley inching closer and closer. Everyone knew I had a short temper and I wasn't really sure why Ronnie was looking for a fight. "What the hell did you expect, Ronnie? Did you really think I'd be fine with you trying to get in my fiancée's pants?"
Ronnie laughed sarcastically, "Pants? Really Andy? The little whore isn't wearing hardly anything."
I clenched my jaw. "Alright, I'm leaving. I'm not kicking your ass tonight." I started to walk away.
"Kick my ass?" Ronnie asked. A crowd had formed around us. I noticed a few people recording.
I nodded and tried to walk away, but before I could get all the way turned, Ronnie yelled, "Back up your fucking words, prick!" I could tell he threw a punch by the way people reacted. The problem was, I didn't feel anything. Not even a millisecond afterwards, Jade's weight fell to the floor and I shockingly went down beside her with grace.
He hit my fucking girlfriend. I looked up at the singer, "You bet your ass I'm going to fucking kill you."
Jade as barely there. She had no clue what was happening. She was clutching her face and crying. I clenched my jaw and yelled at some random girl to go get some ice but, Vic Fuentes was already on it. He lightly touched the ice to Jade's face. She winced. Vic apologized quietly to Jade before speaking to me, "That was dick move. Are you going to hit him back?"
"Damn right I'm gonna hit him back," I muttered and looked up at the 'The Drug in Me is You' singer. He was standing there watching me and Vic on the floor with Jade. She was still sobbing and she was asking for me. I knew she was confused, and her being intoxicated didn't help anything. Ronnie had hit her hard.
"Hey, hey," I whispered. "Jade, look babe, I'm right here. It's okay. It' alright." I lifted her chin so her eyes would meet mine. "Hey, look at me. Stop crying beautiful, it's okay." As mad as I was right now, it still broke me to sit here and watch her cry, knowing I could do nothing to take away her pain. The sadness only intensified the anger though. I knew my body was tense and I really wasn't in the right state of mind to help Jade.
Vic must've noticed, too, because he looked at me, his eyes questioning. I nodded, "Take her upstairs or something."
I kissed her forehead quickly before watching Vic lift Jade off the floor bridal style. I was quick to stand up. Ronnie puffed out his chest and waited. I watched Vic and Jade disappear before looking at Ronnie.
You don't hit my fucking girlfriend and Ronnie was about to learn that.
