37. Aggressive Girls

Shizu's POV

Ho- How do I respond to such a question. It's true I'm his wife but we haven't even exchanged vows yet. Rimuru doesn't even know that I feel this way about him. Ahh what do I say.

Ciel- "This is a surprise opportunity. You should corner him. I'll help." She said like a shark who smelled blood in water.

That's a bold move. I hope this works. Wait I can use my new last name as an excuse of course. This could work.

Shizu- "I'm not their actual mother but their adoptive one I do hope to one day be."

I then look at Rimuru to see his reaction. He of course starts to go red in the face out of surprise at my boldness. It then goes away likely due to Ciel saying something. I then decide to help odd fuel to the fire to corner him more like planned.

Shizu- "I think you should take responsibility for renaming me with your last name Rimuru-san."

Meanwhile in Rimuru's mind.

What is she talking about I don't remember giving her my last name. What is happening right now? Is she asking me out? This has never happened to me before. Ciel what's going on?

Ciel- "When you renamed her I used some of your flesh to help her evolve as well like with Zegion and Apito before. So she also now has your last name after you renamed her. It's also insurance."

Rimuru- "For what exactly?!"

Ciel- "To make sure you are going to give me my wedding soon. I've waited for how long?"

What is even happening I feel like two monsters are coming down on me. Someone help meeeeee.

Back to Shizu.

He quickly stiffens up more at my argument to him. He is clearly trying to come up with an excuse to not do so like Ciel told us he would that night. What else can I do to push this to a success? Before I can think of something Rimuru answers first.

Rimuru- "I'm thankful you feel that way but I already have a person I'm promised to. How can I betray that trust in me for you."

What a weak argument Rimuru. I already have an answer to such a question.

Shizu- "Oh you mean Ciel. She is the one who said I should do this. Since I was being so selfish to you before she felt I should at least give you something in return for helping you. She also told me a few others should as well."

Rimuru- "There are others?! Wait that's not important, so you're being forced to make this decision. I won't accept it if it's not voluntary."

Starting to panic are you Rimuru. Before I might have agreed to it but now, I'll use this to pin you to accept me right now. And to give me even more later. I see now why Ciel chose to strike now.

Shizu- "Before I might have agreed with you Rimuru. But now it's different, I do want you especially after you're giving me everything I've ever wanted. You cured me and will help the kids. You're making a country I'm growing to love more every day. Please accept me no, us."

Rimuru was silent for a bit until Kagali then pushed him towards me. He must have been deep in thought because he was surprised to have gotten closer to me. I also saw Kagali give me a small thumbs up from behind him. He might have saw it normally but right now he was so embarrassed and red that he likely can't think properly. It's funny that it's just like Ciel said. We must be aggressive in the right way to get Rimuru as ours. So I guess he's the woman in this situation. Since I need to be aggressive I'll do the killing blow. I then look down into Rimuru's eyes who's starting to be held tight by me as he's losing his composure.
