35. I Dont Want Another Daughter

                            Veldora's POV

I have been enjoying my time in the imaginary space away from work and my sisters. Me and Ifrit have been enjoying our time playing games and watching events through Rimuru's eyes. Now he will confront my most powerful creation that some call my daughter, Charibdis. I wonder what he plans to do with it this time. Last time he couldn't beat it so he had Milim destroy it but now he could easily defeat it. Perhaps he plans to have his daughter defeat it. But she isn't strong enough yet wait! Maybe he plans to have everyone undergo a sudo harvest festival so they are strong enough to win on their own. Then my disciple Zegion can fight it alone. Then my fame will rise in tempest before my grand return. Oh please Rimuru do that.

Ciel- "What are you imagining foolish dragon."

Veldora- "Gya! Ciel, I was just thinking of how we are going to deal with Charibdis this time."

Rimuru- "Well it's a good thing I came to talk to you ahead of time then isn't it."

This is giving me a bad feeling. Like I'm going to be getting more work or something similar.

Veldora- "Oh hey my sworn brother how you doing."

Rimuru- "I'm doing alright Veldora, been mostly reliving my past in a nostalgic way."

Veldora- "It has been a while since you last had your subordinates being this weak, to the point you had to actually care about their safety. Ever since they evolved to awakened demon lords they never needed your help much anymore."

Rimuru- "Ya there was that but it's already happening again. The demons are much stronger than everyone else is right now along with the new additions. It has been making everyone want to train more at least which will help in the long run for us thankfully. But once they undergo a second evolution they'll likely not need my help until your sister attacks us again."

Veldora- "Ya that will suck again. So about that any way you can let me not fight Velgrynd again?"

Rimuru- "Relax Veldora. Now that you have your upgraded ultimate skill she can't beat you with her regular one. Even if they have Kondos help like before you can simply transfer your consciousness to another clone. Think of it like a substitution jutsu."

Veldora- "Ya your right Rimuru it can even be a trump card against her. Better yet since that bullet is a once a day thing I'd be removing a dangerous element too."

Rimuru- "Ya you would be. It would also make you the MVP of the battle as well. You'd have defeated Velgrynd and disabled a powerful ability, along with also helping to protect the labyrinth as well all at once. You'd  be the greatest hero of the battle."

Veldora- "Ku ha ha ha! You're right brother. I'd be the savior of the country. They might even make statues of me."

Rimuru- "You want to know what would make you seem more impressive to people Veldora."

Veldora- "Ya what?" I said excitedly.

Rimuru- "Making Charibdis your actual daughter and she then praises you as well. You could even train her like you did Zegion."

Veldora- "Hmmmm. It sounds tempting but I don't want a daughter Rimuru, too much responsibility. Why don't you take her as your daughter instead."

Rimuru- "Who am I Garp the Fist or something? She's not my kid and I don't want anymore kids right now. I barely get to spend time with all of them right now. I'm not the world's daycare for kids you know. First Veldanava, then the elf king before he died, I finally had my own, now you want to dump your kid on me too?!"
