36. Forced Recruitment Drive

                                Guy's POV

Recently things have started to get interesting again. Rudra is on the move again and Veldora disappeared too. While it seems like the three newbies are up to something, and Milim is working with them but lately she's been apparently doing her own thing. That and my two maids have been acting strange as well. They often look to one direction as if they sense something. I do as well but it's faint like a connection to my soul. It might be something interesting that I do t know of. Maybe I should investigate what it is. I haven't had much to do lately so maybe I'll go there myself. First I'll ask the two what it is they think it is.

Guy- "You two what's been bugging you so much lately?"

Mizary- "We just sense a presence we haven't felt in a long time milord."

Rain- "Ya he gave us such great food back then. I wonder if he'll give us more later."

So it's because they were familiar to both of them. It must be the person who summoned them long ago before I did if Rain is talking about food while Mizary is saying it was long ago. If they're still alive even now that must mean they are long lived or a spiritual life form. But why couldn't they sense them till now? Were they hiding in Veldora's shadow to mask their presence? Who are they really? They must be something to leave such long lasting impressions on both of them. I guess I'll inquire more information out of them.

Guy- "Who is this nostalgic person to have left such an impression on both of you? Are they strong enough to join the council?"

Rain- "They said we can't speak of them until we meet again at the least."

Mizary- "Yes, they also said they'll join the council eventually on their own. If they are active now it shouldn't be long till then."

Guy- "I see. Then I'll have to visit them soon. Maybe in a few years or something."

Mizary- "I'm sure you won't need to wait that long milord. He should be coming to the next walpurgis if my hunch is correct."

Guy- "That might be in more than a few years. What makes you think it'll be so soon?"

Rain- "Because where ever they go chaos soon follows milord."

Odd of Rain to be in the know of such an individual like this. She's usually too lazy to care about anyone like that. It was then that Velzard came into the room.

Velzard- "Hello Guy."

Guy- "Hello Velzard is something peaking your interest or something?"

Velzard- "Well I've felt a weird connection to the forest of Jura lately and I'm not sure why. Though when I focused on it the thing felt like a true dragon was in the Jura forest."

Guy- "Is it your brother? Perhaps he finally learned to control his aura. It would be cause for celebration then that he finally can stop being so childish."

Velzard- "I thought so as well but it's moving around unlike what Veldora would be able to if he's still in that prison."

Guy- "Is it someone else? Your older brother perhaps?"

Velzard- "No not him. I can't quite explain it but it feels wrong somehow compared to everyone else that's a true dragon I know of. I think it's something new. Or it's that thing that was once rumored to exist long ago."

Guy- "And what might that be?"

Velzard- "The void dragon."

I looked to the other two in the room and they seemed to react to that name. So it is the void dragon is it and it's possible a true dragon as well. But why did it appear now of all times.
