34. To Many Visitors

                                    Fuzz's POV

It had been a few months since Shizu had chosen to stay in a village of monsters. The idiot trio had told me of what had happened while they were there but I wished to hear her end of the story. So I had been getting ahead on my duties so I could make a trip there. Though having the trio be my guides seemed too dangerous but they are the only people who have been to the village before. After a few months of getting ahead on my papers I'm finally setting out. Of course my premonition of the trio causing me problems was true. The fools managed to agro monsters after monsters that caused great many problems to us all. Especially that dammed Kibal, in this most recently foolish plan walked into a knight spider nest and did so willingly. Of course after that we all had to run without our supplies from the knight spider obviously in the nest.

Fuze- "You dam fools. Why can't you just be normal for once in your lives and not provoke the monsters here!"

Erin- "Don't blame me sir it's always Kibals fault it happens. He's the problem not us!"

Kibal- "It's not always me you did it that one time when we went to investigate a demon in a mansion."

Fuze- "Quite both of you and save your breath. We've managed to gain some distance and now we need to set up a defense to defeat that knight spider."

As I was saying that we ran into another group of people who were also in the forest. It was a large group of guys armed for battle. Erin of course asked for their help and ran past them. Even now it's hard to believe their B rank adventures.

Fuze- "Sorry for the trouble. Do you mind working together to take this thing down? I'm Fuze by the way."

Youm- "I'm Youm and I'll help you since it looks like I don't have a choice. Me people can't out run a knight spider like you guys can."

Meanwhile without us noticing a few new people came out of the wood line near us.

Kibal- "Oh Gobta is that you?"

Gobta- "Hey Kibal it's been a while. In need of help again are you. I don't mind giving you a hand since it's been hard to find such good prey lately. As my master once said you guys are great at finding monsters in the forest. You should join us on more hunts to help boost our good luck later."

Kibal- "Man that sounds nice."

Fuze- "Sir Gobta if you don't mind we are here to visit your village if you don't mind?"

I'm surprised by the power of these monsters. Evolved direwolves of many types. Hobgoblins all with names and apparently there are more monsters in the village. They could potentially destroy a town or village with the firepower they have. A hazard class threat if I've ever seen one. But they aren't even the main power of the village which scares me more than anything else. Seeing their intentions has become even more important than before.

Gobta- "Sure we can bring you there. We are planning to have a party tonight so having more people is always welcome. First we'll deal with acquiring our main course."

After that the hobgoblin alone beat the knight spider and even the others seemed relaxed about dealing with a B rank monster. Perhaps I've underestimated them all. The wolves didn't even do much besides help transport the hobgoblins and the spider corpse. We, along with the large group, then went to the so called village which is more of a large town.

Fuze- "I thought you guys said it was a village!?"

Kibal- "It was it seems like they've grown the population a lot more than before."
