56. Shizu's Return with the Kids

                                 Shizu's POV

I'd recently gotten stronger after I passed out during training. Hinata seemed to have left in a rush after I did to ask someone to examine me. They seemed to be checking me in odd areas than I expected but Hinata reassured me it was necessary. After the doctor said nothing was unusual and that I should still rest for a day before I went to my normal training again. It was then that Hinata gave me a scrutinizing look before asking me some questions.

Hinata- "Are you really alright Sensei?"

Shizu- "Of course I'm fine. I must have just been over working myself in training like I used to. Ever since I was freed of Ifrit I've been feeling stronger and more energetic every day. It's like I'm younger all over again."

Hinata- "Speaking of Ifrit, how did you manage to survive without a spirit after he was removed from you."

So that's what you want to know is it. You're curious if there is a way to help other kids in the future without relying on spirits. Unfortunately it is unlikely a child would get the chance to go through the experience I did with them getting the chance to evolve after. They just don't have the will to handle it yet.

Shizu- "I was saved by Rimuru and he made a whole new body for me. That's what I was told at least. He then moved my soul into the newly made body and then my old one was destroyed like it naturally would have been."

Hinata- "That's sounds ridiculous you know. Are you sure that's what happened?"

Shizu- "Yes I'm sure it is. Though it could have possibly been something else but such methods are beyond my understanding."

Hinata- "Hmmm. Have you been feeling more tired recently even after you came back to teach the kids?"

Shizu- "Well I have been more lately I guess, now that I think about it." (Must be due to the kids improving so much lately that I need to put in more effort to raise them.)

Hinata- "I see, has your taste buds been different after your body was rebuilt like you say it was? I doubt it was a perfect one to one recreation."

Shizu- "Well, I have been having more cravings for sweets lately I guess. That's all I can think of however. Maybe I did have some slight changes to my body made after all."

Hinata- "I see, thanks for answering my questions. I need to go since I must report back to the church soon. I'll try to come back so I can continue to help you train your spirits again."

Shizu- "If you plan to do that then by then I'll likely be back in Tempest again. I have a job where I teach kids there and I've been gone for a while so I need to return. The kids all say they want to travel there with me as well. I think they are worried about me not coming back so they asked to be taught in Tempest by me instead."

Hinata- "......... I see. Then I'll see you in Tempest in then."

After that she went out of the room. She has always been such a hard worker. I'm glade I managed to help her get some of her past behind her along with getting to see how much she's grown since I last saw her. She has become such a wonderful individual that she now teaches me. Unlike Yuki she also didn't go down the dark path of life either. I have been missing Rimuru lately and being able to see him again so brings me much excitement. After resting for another day, me and the kids all began our journey to Tempest together. I plan to use the monsters on the way to further train all of them. They may complain but it's for their own good.

Hinata's POV

After speaking to Sensei in the infirmary I went to as the doctor if my theory was right about my Sensei's condition. I must know if Rimuru did something to her after he saved her life. If he has done anything to Shizu I'll tear him apart even if it kills me. After making my way through the hallway I knocked on the door to his office.
