Veldanava's POV

Recently I have felt fate itself is changing against what I originally planned. Small stuff is fine since it can correct itself naturally over time. Luckily only people with ultimate skills or very rare unique skills can do that making the list of culprits small. Unfortunately it seems this time it's likely an ultimate skill holder did it so it narrows down the potential people. I of course have an idea on who it is already. My cousin has great love and attachment to his past life and friends. It's likely he allowed his emotions to guide his actions. If he hadn't told me about Veldora being the embodiment of chaos I'd think he was instead. If I allow him to continue his recruitment plans the world might change forever. Luckily I told him I would be coming to get him in a few days so he should understand that he needs to lay low for a while. While I was thinking that I felt a large force in fate change more than all the others from before. I stood up while trying to pinpoint its source so I could return the world to order. When I did my friends also became tense around me seeing my change in behavior.

Feldway- "Sir is something wrong?"

Veldanava- "I have felt a great disturbance in the forces of fate. If it continues it could cause problems for the future I seek."

Feldway- "Should I go and snuff out this threat sir?"

Veldanava- "No I'll go personally to investigate it along with everyone here but you Feldway. I need you to be a teleportation point of escape should I need it. Luckily I have an idea of what caused it already."

Feldway- "As impressive as always my lord. Truly nothing can escape your notice unscathed."

Veldanava- "Ya. Sure. Believe what you want Feldway. Anyway while I'm gone Feldway, prepare a room for a guest that is under house arrest for a while since my cousin will be staying there for a while."

Feldway- " It shall be done at once sir."

Veldanava- "Good try to have it done before I get back but don't push yourself too hard."

After that I teleported to the Ramiris labyrinth since Rimuru said he would be going there next in our last thought communication a few days ago. After I went inside with everyone else I felt like something was wrong. The energy here was higher than usual along with Ramiris not treating us right away as we entered.

Dino- "Ramiris is oddly late in greeting you sir is the something that changed fate here causing Ramiris harm? It would explain why she didn't come to greet us and why you felt fate change so much."

While Dino's assessment wasn't wrong on the surface it still didn't explain why Ramiris didn't greet us yet. If she were in danger she would rush to the strongest person she knows and as for their help regardless if they will or not. But more than that this energy felt familiar to me which made my suspicions feel more justified in thinking my cousin was at the heart of the matter. I need to find him quick before fate becomes irreversible.
So I signaled the others with hand movements to follow me as I guided us to where I last felt Rimuru's presence.

Pico- "Boss are we close to the target yet? I'm starting to feel a chill down my spine like we shouldn't go down any farther."

Dino- "I have no clue why are you asking me if I know."

Veldanava- "Quit bickering you two. I have seen you both start that way before a fight so many times already. Stay quiet we are getting close and it seems Ramiris is near by too."

We all then drew our weapons just in case. I did too since it might have been possible that Rimuru somehow tricked me into believing a made up story. If he did then I felt it would be a tuff fight ahead even with all my friends help. But after we saw that Ramiris was safe we all let out relieved sighs. Ramiris of course never changed since we all knew her came to us with a smug attitude.
