46. Heading to Walpurgis

                               Ciel's POV

After leaving Rimuru to finish his tasks I went to do my own. Finding out what is going on with Elmesia. I already have an idea so I just need to confirm it and to do so I must go to the source of the cause first. It took some time but I finally found her still partying with everyone else in Tempest. She seemed to be expecting someone to come since she had stoped drinking after the talk with Elmesia before.

Ciel- "So might I ask you something Sylvia?"

Sylvia- "So someone has decided to ask what I'm scheming have they. Sure ask away."

Ciel- "What did you say to Elmesia to make her so flustered around my husband?"

Sylvia- "Your husband? Never heard that he got married at all?"

Ciel- "We are waiting for a more appropriate time when the world is less chaotic."

Sylvia- "Then I guess you're going to be waiting for a while longer then."

Ciel- "For the answer to which question?"

Sylvia- "The second one. For the first one I just told her to know that her father is alive and that Rimuru is the only reason he is. I also asked her to try getting some grandkids for me as well."

Ciel- "You know she might have mistaken your request to be getting together with my husband right?"

Sylvia- "I wouldn't say no to that. If she had such I powerful husband I wouldn't complain. Especially since her finding a potential partner is near impossible due to her current position."

Ciel- "Still why did you push her to so strongly? Why did you tell her my husband might not let her see her father again if she doesn't try to win him over?"

Sylvia- "Did I say that? Maybe I've had too much to drink then."

Ciel- "You can try to hide behind the alcohol but we both know you are just hiding your motives behind it. Why did you do this?"

Sylvia- "Fine I'll tell you. Rimuru and his country are too powerful to ever overcome with strength or cunning alone. The awakened and primordial demons make that clear. But he also has great political influence as well. I've spoken to Luminous before and she knows him. I've also spoken to most of the other demon lords and all seem to know of him as well even if not personally. Each owe him a debt of gratitude for helping them even me."

Ciel- "I see so you know we aided you in that incident."

Sylvia- "Yes the evil dragon incident. Your agents tried to keep themselves hidden from my sight but I still noticed them. At first I thought the price for his aid was my husband's death, until recently that is."

Ciel- "My husband didn't expect you to repay him for saving your people and country from harm. He did it so no one else had to be harmed."

Sylvia- "Did he know? Then what about the looks I got recently from him that also were given to my daughter as well?"

Ciel- "He, he simply was remembering who you all were before to him."

Sylvia- "Was he now? Then what were we to him before hmm? Friends, allies, acquaintances, or... something more?"

Ciel- "............ Just allies."

Sylvia- "Sure we were. I'm not sure how but it appears he has somehow traveled through time. He even sent many gifts to Luminous along with a hero to protect her. Sounds like the same treatment I got from him as well, doesn't it?"
