66. Regaining a Family Member

                          Rimuru's POV

It sucks that I can't do anything to help Veldora since he was hit with the bullet again. But luckily it seems that Granbell days are numbered now that his part in Hinata's fate is finished. Plus now Chloe can start to get her strength back as well. It also helps that most of the fights are finishing already with the less important individuals. Shion has finished off the insectar like she did before with Rangas help and Clayman has apprehended the otherworlders who were forced to fight against their will. Now we only have to deal with the more powerful individuals. But the first one I'll be dealing with is my abused sister, Velgrynd. Going into my infinite space I saw her lashing out at everything around her in anger. Of course it only caused her to loose energy and did nothing else but in her rage she didn't seem to care.

Of course I'm going to help her even if she did try to harm my people including myself since she was under domination from Micheal. Seeing her in that state made me remember why I didn't like seeing others being dominated around me since they will slowly lose their true selves over time. As I approach her I put up the absolute barrier so I wouldn't need to worry about her harming herself by touching the nihility barrier I always had around me. It's stronger than the absolute barrier since it is a fusion of all barrier skills in my repertory.

Just trying to attack me would have you be erased like a thanos snap if you didn't have a multi dimensional barrier at the least. But currently Velgrynd only has the multi layer barrier sub skill so I need to be extra careful around her. Eventually she did notice my presence since I stared at her beautiful body too long and went to hit me as soon as she saw me.

Velgrynd- "Where am I you monster?! Release me this instant or Rudra will make you pay for hurting me you vile beast!"

I know she is desperate to leave and see her close love interest is safe but did you have to be so harsh about it?

Rimuru- "I would do that but I can't as you are right now since you've been dominated by Micheal against your own will. I will release you and even more if you just accept me and willingly undergo a soul corridor with me."

Velgrynd- "Lies! Rudra would never do that to me, never! You just want to hold power over me for your own twisted purposes." She said as she covered herself like I was going to do some heinous act.

Rimuru- "Who said it was Rudra who did it to you?" Wow, I never thought that looking at her like that, let alone doing such a vile thing. Especially now that I have people that are more than friends with me now, I think at least? I know that Ciel is but she is also a piece of my being so I'm not sure if that counts.

Velgrynd- "Wha? But- but you said it was Micheal who did it? Wait..... how could I have forgotten that justice king Micheal has that ability? My older brother told me about it himself long ago."

Rimuru- "Shouldn't the answer be obvious?"

I know I don't need to spell it out for her since she is a smart girl. Even if she is a bit short tempered and hot blooded at times. I'm mostly doing it this way so she will come to her own conclusions without me having to tell her so she can willingly ask me to help her like before. Though I know it will take a little more convincing to do that first.

Velgrynd- "Whatever! I don't know why I forgot but I won't believe that Rudra has done this for no reason at all, I'm sure of it...." After she said that she went to try attacking me again but I quickly went to talk to try to stop that from happening.

Rimuru- "I'm not going to force you to believe me dear sister. I'm just going to show you my perspective of the situation and you can decide for yourself. Is that fine with you?"
