63. Boasting of Tempest's Power

Veldora's POV

After reassuring Rimuru of my future victory I went back to confront my sister. Even if it still scares me to do so I won't back down since I know how important my victory here is. We must succeed so we have less to worry about in the coming Tenma war. According to Rimuru if we can secure a victory here our chances will increase dramatically. Especially if we can get my sister to remove her mind domination as well. My job currently is to stall her at worst and defeat her at best. Since Rimuru had made a demonic contract with Granbell, both him and Rimuru can't fight in this battle themselves. It seems that Granbell thinks he can win so long as Rimuru doesn't get involved at all. Oh how wrong he is for I the great Veldora am the strongest true dragon. But even if I couldn't win his subordinates could win on their own. Of course even if Rimuru needed to fight he could have Ciel step in for him as well since it wouldn't break the soul contract at all. For now I guess I'll focus on fighting my sister. This fight will be legendary. Is what I think as my sister flew back towards me.

Velgrynd- "So my little brother finally shows himself to me. I thought I'd have to go get you after I decimated these majin forces. However, it seems I must still educate you more on how to treat a lady right." She said with a scary smile.

Veldora- "Kuha ha ha. Dear sister, you think that I'm the same little brother that I was before then you're wrong. I have gained enlightenment from the knowledge that Rimuru has given me and soon you will as well."

Velgrynd- "Huh? You think I fake true dragon like him that wasn't even acknowledged by our elder brother as our own is qualified to fight me, let alone even face me?"

Veldora- "My sworn brother isn't a fake true dragon at all and he's even older than you are. You should show him some respect as soon enough your beloved Rudra shall be saved by him. Meanwhile you are being mind controlled due to your overconfidence and blind love for Rudra, or rather his walking husk of a body."

Velgrynd- "If you do anything to my beloved Rudra brother I shall show you no mercy today."

Veldora- "Gulp"

Velgrynd- "Perhaps Elder sister is right and I need to have a heavier hand in your education."

Veldora- "Even if you don't believe me dear sister, just know that it is still the truth. Besides I doubt even if the full might of the empire were to come right now you'd all still lose to Rimuru alone."

Velgrynd- "Your oddly confident in a mere demon lord aren't you little brother?"

Veldora- "Kuha ha ha. I see you're very misinformed dear sister. But even if you want to get such information out of me I won't elaborate any more. I have been taught much by my sworn brother on how important information is in battle."

Velgrynd- "How unfortunate. I was hoping to gather some information on the ability's of that creature from you. I guess I'll just have to pry them from you then."

Veldora- "T-try if you can dear sister. Just know that this will be my victory today." (You can do this Veldora. You've been training for this. There will be no third party to interfere in the fight this time. I also have a stronger skill than before as well.)

Velgrynd- "We shall see brother."

It was then that Velgrynd started the battle by creating parallel existences around me. It seems she wants to finish this quickly so she can attack Rimuru and his companions. I am the protagonist of this battle so I will not allow her to harm my friends. The sacred text have told me how to win this battle and I shall do just that.
